OK so I'm in a bit of pickle. I downloaded Goro and have been using him until yesterday when I encountered a problem. I was in the krypt when I got to the door with the levers but it wouldn't let me pull them at all. I restarted my console and everything until I decided to uninstall the game and reinstall it. Well now the problem I'm having is I can't use Goro at all. Whenever I select him it just prompts me to buy him instead.I restored my licenses and went to the PS store and looked at my library. It shows that I have dlc for MKX but it isn't letting me redownload. Am I fucked? Is there a download list I can look at online of things I've downloaded and do it from there?

Log into the PS store on your PC and then look at your download list. Goro and the kombat pack were in there for me. I got the samurai pack off PSN on ps4.

To be fair it is new tech for Steam. Hope it gets sorted out quick.

It's nice that the game started to download the 29 packs on Steam but it would be nice if the option to change the control buttons was among the first ones, I can't play with the default controls lol.

So apparently if you quit the singleplayer and then continue the singleplayer, it skips your current fight and advances the story. Playing on PS4.

You can skip the fights freely pressing start etc

They can print a code on the receipt for goro.

GameStop usually does print the DLC code on the receipt.

Eh, I found those roadblock fights annoying. There are other single player modes for fighting the cheap AI. Just give me a little taste of the fighting without the crazy difficulty spikes you have to counter-cheese the AI to beat. That's not fun. I don't need that holding up story progress.

But it's not counter-cheesing. You had to actually learn at least some of your character's basic combos and recognize the opponent's attacks and avoid/block them. Specifically with Shao Kahn, he was like a classic video game boss with specific patterns, and you had to recognize his wind up and avoid them. And if you did that, when you beat that story mode you were a much better player than when you came into it.

There's no cheesing in a balanced fighting game IMO.

This happened to me as well (Playing on Xbone). I stopped last night fighting Rain then resuming today it had a cutscenes of Rain defeated and threw me into the Mileena fight.

Best Buy send out Goro codes yet? They usually email the codes at midnight.

Still waiting on my code as well. If I don't have it by tonight I'm gonna call or email support.

Seems like each pack adds one character, too bad no maps still and it's possible to crash the game from the options menu. Whoever designed the content of the packs needs to be fired, this is stupid. Not to mention the missing pack 5 and 9

Has anybody from the UK ordered the game from GAME? My copy has not arrived and the post usually comes at 1pm. Is anybody else having delivery issues?

The whole games currency is now an extreme grind because of it though, it does negatively affect all players who arent buying it.
