After how successful P.T. was I am blown away that more developers haven't followed suit putting surprise demos up. It's been a long time since I've seen a community go nuts like that.

That's kind of what I figured would happen. In my head at least the only way you'd be able to play it is to 1) already have it downloaded and 2) keep your console offline.

Of course I have no idea how it'll actually work. Maybe you'll just need to have it in your download list and you'll still be able to play it.

This doesn't matter. I could go make a new account in 10 minutes and add PT to that account. So yes they'd give up that account, but it means nothing to them.

Of course, right now, but if it is removed from the store then that will no longer be possible.

I bought a few digital PS4 games this gen and have a ton of digital PS3 games last gen tied to my account. I'm downloading this demo now.

If I sold my account and PS4 for whatever 1000 euros is converted to American dollars minus the price of a new PS4, I can get the games I truly enjoyed this gen and erased digital purchase regrets from this and last gen and make a profit for Wii U games.

I don't think so. I've bought a few games with a US PSN account, and I've always been able to play them on my main Australian account. I think as long as the game's there on the system it should be playable for any user, but I could be totally wrong.

That's the problem. It isn't. It's a solid demo/proof of concept that didn't necessarily reflect the gameplay of a yet unreleased game that will now never see the light of day.

I played it and thought it was cool, but any praise around this damn thing has been wrought with massive hyperbole.

I'm sorry, but do people actually believe this? I can't see PT being up there with the likes of Silent Hill 2 and other great survival horror games. Don't even get me started on its design (which yes, I know it was intentionally obtuse) which I can't believe would have someone even calling it a great game.

It was a great experience in gaming all together, what with the community working together and all that, but beyond that it as a game, survival horror or otherwise, it isn't deserving of the praise it gets. But then again I think Five Nights at Freddy's is terrible but some parts of the gaming community would gut me for saying that.

Also why is this happening? If you download/purchase content doesn't it remain on your download list forever (well, as long as the servers for the service remain anyways) with the publishers not being able to do a thing to take it from you? Why are people selling entire consoles instead of just PSN accounts? You could make a huge amount of PSN accounts and just download PT to them.
