Dishonored: Definitive Edition rated in Brazil

I wanted to be more into Dishonored but I just couldn't for some reason. I still enjoyed it though. Never played the DLC. I think I finished the game before it came out and moved on to the next game.

Dishonored DLC is better than the main game, I shit you not.

Daude actually talked. That made him like 10x more interesting than Corvo by default.

I don't think I played the DLC, so I guess I'd double dip with only that =P

Anyway, if this means that Dishonored 2 is a reality, then I'm happy.

I never played it before, I have this on PS3 due to PS+. I will probably stop playing and get this.

This is what makes me hesitant about buying recent last gen games.

Really hope this is true, have been wanting this for ages! Must be 60fps and of course 1080p. 30fps would be such a let down and of course this game should and could run at 1080/60. With all DLC that I never bought and getting to play the game with all the benefits of PS4 and complete it this time would be great for me. I absolutely adored the atmosphere of this game, gave me butterflies at time with the sound and visuals culminating in something very special. The game Thief should have been! :p

what did my country leak besides this news?

Goddamn it guys, we are having serious water rationing. Someone stop those leaks.
(Nah, I love game leaks)

I remember the crust time Corvo talked was a way into the game, and he started complaining about the rats. Then, he never ever spoke again. It was so funny, he is a silent whiner in my head.

I'll be super disappointed if we're getting this in lieu of Dishonored 2. I love the first game, but I don't feel the need to play it again.

But nobody's forcing you to play it...they're probably doing this to see if there's enough interest in a sequel and develop the audience if they decide to go forward with a sequel.

Sony and pubs shouldn not be giving away all the games on PS+ if they want me to buy remasters :-/

Happened already with Tomb Raider, Metro LL, Batmans, DmC, Dishonored this month. Did not have any of those games prior to PS+, and would be in the market for PS4 versions.

I love remasters!
Especially if the original game suffered from DLCs and framerate issues.

I got the original game, but the day I started playing it was the day my second PS3 got it's "Yellow Light of Death" (my first PS3 got a YLoD and that was the refub model they sent me), and after that the DLCs came along, so I lost all desire to play the game and I sold my copy.
I was hoping to get the complete edition one of these days if i find it super cheap, but I guess I did good waiting.

No reason for this other than packing all the DLC together (which is at least as good as the main game, and almost the same amount of content). Even on PC the graphics look identical to 360 except resolution and framerate. Maybe better textures. Dishonored is a deliberately modest-looking game.

This is pretty cool. I understand a lot of people are annoyed by the output of "definitive editions" compared to brand new games, but Dishonored could be doing with technical improvements that even a high end pc isn't going to solve for you. Namely the textures. Dishonored has a gorgeous well thought out art style and world, I've been reading through the dunwall archives lately and wow, but the textures just aren't there to represent the world adequately. If they dig in and make Dunwall look the way it does in my mind's eye, then good on them, I'd buy it.

Maybe they'll include a Dishonored II demo with the remaster? That would be an easy way to get more sales and boost hype for the sequel.

A sequel is already well in development, I was expecting it to release this year, but with this news I guess there's close to no chance now...

Will double dip at a decent sale if the PC version has much better textures maxed out, sometimes they were a little washed out if you zoomed in on them or if you got in front of them. Other than that, I really don't know why Dishonored needs a "definitive" edition. It's not a game that particularly needs a visuals overhaul, if anything its art style is very unique even on last gen.

Anyway, Dishonored is my 2nd or 3rd favourite game of last generation. :)

You know it is possible to release a remaster a year before the sequel right? This could easily be announced at E3 for a holiday release with Dishonored 2 releasing holiday 2016.

Halo MCC released last year and Halo 5 is releasing this year.

I really enjoyed the game but I don't see the point of buying it again, maybe for cheap and when I have nothing to play. Still, it's good for people who missed out on the game.

I was expecting Dishonored 2 to be announced at E3 for a holiday release this year because otherwise Bethesda will not have release any game this year (I don't really count ESO since it launched last year on PC) but with this upcoming remaster it won't be possible.

So? It's not like they HAVE to release a game every year. Anyway, there's still the possibility of Fallout 4 this holiday.
