As said in the other thread, game will probably look a bit more sharper/grainier on foliage and textures as they've added TextureMipBias=-1 to the config.

Good stuff.

I guess we will have to wait for the Enhanced Edition to have acceptable loading times

I've had zero issues playing off a WD Caviar Black. Loading times are great, in fact.

what? the loading times are small. especially compared to games lately (destiny, bloodborne, dragon age inquisition or poe).

what i care for is the crashing inventory thing gone. should i switch to the latest nvidia drivers? (i had rollback since that stopped the crashing).

Pretty small improvements there, which is understandable given that in 30 hours I have seen no notable issues and the game hasn't crashed once.

I wish they would add "hairworks - monsters only" preset.
Geralt's hair looks much better for me with CDP's tech than with nvidia. But the animal fur looks awesome.

And yeah load times are incredible. Few seconds.

Even if the game had bad loading times, which it doesn't, you only load every 2+ hours or when you die, which is not often. How is this possibly an issue?

Sigh, and I had just given up on Hairworks last night (too many dips to 30s). I guess I'll give it another go

Save scumming, probably.

Aight, found an old save and old screenshot and lined them up.

You realize the amount of work required to test and fit the text for all languages in a larger font?

Loading times need to be fixed? Hell the game rarely even shows the "tip" screen for me. I didn't even know one existed until last night. Game's loading time is fantastic.

So the thing about additional Gwent cards being available means an NPC has been patched in with that missable Foltest card, yes?

I think the load issues are mostly isolated to consoles (heard some people can take up to 90 seconds).

It's okay for me on PC though, the game's on my 10k RPM drive and not on my SSD and it loads fast enough. In prologue area it was like 3-5 seconds. After that it's about 10s.

Does Galaxy automatically update the game?

Edit: Loading for me is like 3/4 seconds. On an SSD.

I'm just on my phone but that looks a shitload better, a lot more fine and precise, not so blocky.

Also, anyone able to comment on stuttering, particularly on horseback? Any better now?

I hope those textures are better.
I mean, with them on high I could notice some damn terrible textures while having a conversation with someone.

I wonder where those console load times occur?

Having played some of the PS4 version, I found that it loaded nearly as fast as my PC (which is to say, extremely fast). The only time it took longer was upon death but, even then, it was no more than 10-20 seconds.

I saw that one video someone posted of the PS4 version taking well over a minute to load but haven't seen that happen as of yet. Not even close.
