No surprise seeing Ryu's B moves, everyone saw 3 of those coming miles away. Last one being a Focus Attack is a nice surprise since I thought it would've been the donkey kick. No customs for a character like Ryu is a shame.

How many songs does a stage normally get? I see 6 Kirby ones, most likely for Dream Land 64. Doesn't Miiverse only have 5 right now? Mario Paint Medley, two Wii Shop remixes, & then two Nintendo Land songs? Maybe one is for DL64 & then the other for Miiverse? *shrugs*

Considering Kirby has a hadouken in his own games when he uses Fighter, I'm now expecting this.

Ken's theme 😭 I'm so excited! I doubt they're releasing all characters tomorrow. Why wouldn't they space them out instead? I wonder why they added their data to the servers this early...

It can wildly vary from stage to stage - some have around 10 or more (Mario Galaxy), others only have three (Flat Zone X).

But wait, does Miiverse already have five songs? I don't think I realized there were two Wii Shop Channel remixes and two Nintendo Land songs. Hope slightly restored!

Ryu is cool, but ugh more Fire Emblem Marth clone trash

Also, it's a shame Rhythm Heaven only gets one song instead of a playable character.

I'm kind of disappointed with the player chosen characters. Why do we need Roy in this game? There's 3 other sword wielding Fire Emblem characters. What a waste. Also, Ryu? I know his moveset is kind of cool and iconic, but he's such a safe pick. Smash Bros is ideal for giving it the opportunity to include unconventional characters. Apparently, Splatoon girl is in it ? If so, that's awesome. I voted for her.

Splatoon girl is a trophy. And 3rd parties tend to be safe picks. Pacman, Sonic, Ryu, Snake, Megaman.

These characters were pre-selected before the ballot was a thing.

There's also the Tomodachi life song, and the two Find Mii songs from the 3DS

Roy was a ridiculously popular character in Melee, but Sakurai/Nintendo didn't want him in Brawl, instead to focus on the newest Smash bros hero, Ike. I agree that it's lame to get another Smash bros. sword wielder, but as with Lucas and Mewtwo demand just won out. Now bring Wolf back plz, as he was a clone that was at least different enough from the rest.
