// Mod Edit:

This is the same studio we've known about for a while:

I don't think there's really much mystery to this. We've known about this studio for a while now.

It's a new studio funded by Square Enix Holdings (which means it's a separate company from Square Enix proper), for the explicit purpose of developing JRPGs for consoles. They were hiring a lot of staff, so it's more of a start up than an existing development team from Square Enix. They're working on new IPs, and it looks like they're using Unity.

"It's a brand that says Japan and role playing games and tells people exactly what we're all about.
Now let's go inside and check out the studio..."

Grabbed a screenshot of Project Sensuna (spelling?).

I legit thought it was a Chrono Trigger game because of that clock in the picture. Then he said it was a completely new IP :(

Tell me that doesn't look like a clock on the left side.

Why announce something that has a placeholder title and nothing to show for?

So dumb, I hate when companies do this.

Looks promising, but will need to actually see the game before we can judge it. I mean, all we've seen is concept art after all......

Wonder why they insist on going on the stage if they're just going to robotically read from a teleprompter. This is beyond embarrassing.

are you kidding?

id like to see you go up and speak japanese at a conference.

English isnt his first language... he did amazing.

RPG Factory. Hmm. I'm sure they're full of good ideas.

Like an Idea Factory, or something.

Seriously though, that's what the name made me think of.
