Imagine someone setting a mountain of Yarn Yoshi's on fire like Joker with the money in the Dark Knight. Some people just want to see Amiibo burn
Hahah this thread...
I wonder what happened, maybe it got stolen again, this time from Nintendo themselves lol

Waiting for the conspiracy theories... JET FUEL CAN'T MELT YARN YOSHIS!

(Hilarious as this thread is, reading the posts it just seems as though some stock has been damaged and these places won't be able to supply what had been ordered. Also: "REPORTS COMING IN FROM TWITTER" :-D )

What? The translation is really bad (I'm French).
"Rupture de stock" means "sold out".

Even tough the litteral translation is "broken".

This needs more attention. It seems like the retailer is out of stock but they haven't given the reason why they didn't get their stock.

This is even funnier now

She gon be working overtime to fullfil demand, now!

Seriously, why would someone destroy a cute plushy? What are they, running for most evil person competition or something? I had a set ordered for a young child, you vile...destroyer of happiness! I hope my orders aren't cancelled.

Why would anyone destroy them? They're adorable as heck lol.

Edit: or maybe it's sold out because someone destroyed it.
I have mine anyway.

I'm going with this. I seriously doubt someone intentionally destroyed them.

Maybe a storage problem in a global warehouse?

Like some moth got ungry or idk. After the Splatoon thief in UK that's pretty weird if it happens again. Some plot theorists will love that.

I'm French, they don't talk about "someone" they just say that a part of the stock has been destroyed. How? By who? What happened? They don't say anything about it.

Quoting these for the new page because they seem important maybe

Kinda reminds me... Does anybody know what happened with that shipment of Splatoon SE amiibos that were stolen?

Translation for the tweet is:

"Hello, I am really sorry. Nintendo just informed us that a part of their stock was destroyed."

Also, there's no "orders cancelled left and right in Europe". So far, only cancellations I've seen are from France, and certain retailers (Boulanger, Auchan). So it doesn't look widespread.

Most likely an accident, rather than someone doing it on purpose. Nowhere does it say the amiibo were destroyed intentionally.

Man... like... what?

Real talk, wanted to get one of these for my mom since she loves knitting but I guess this is becoming ever more impossible to reasonably achieve.

Now I regret cancelling my Nintendo UK order and going with the cheaper ShopTo. Hope I'm not screwed out of mine.

Something doesn't make sense. The tweet from Hypergames Auchan says that part of the stock have been destroyed. But the mail below just says the order can be honored (without saying any reason).

We should wait for an official report from Nintendo.
