I haven't seen anything DB related for over a decade and i think i will keep it that way, to not destroy the good memories of those times ,even though i watched every single episode of the original and Z and really liked it then. Also i actually only ever watched the german dub as a kid, so hearing the new? japanese voice was shocking :O, and i never really relaized then how goofy the show actually is/was.

Gatchaman Crowds Insight 0-1

Really happy to have more Gatchaman Crowds though it'll be interesting to see what direction this new series takes. I like the design of Tsubasa and the alien girl but the floating mouth things are really distracting and I hope they aren't around for the whole series. Glad the ED has the classic Gatchaman falling circle which wasn't in the first season at all.

I have now watched over 700 episodes of One Piece.

13 films.

Whatever number of OVA's, Episode of, and specials.

And nearing 800 chapters of the manga.

I dunno if I should pop a bottle or something.

Hmm, I guess she isn't as disliked as I thought.
Does anyone think that she's going to play a major part in the story later on? Maybe she'll have a power of her own or she gets injured or something.

Some people said that a certain "cutie" might die in this show.... I shouldn't have read those spoilers, but it happened. I hope she doesn't, I will cry =(.

It was a pretty enjoyable episode, though I can understand some of the criticism. It was nice seeing Worick and best boy Nick animated. I also loved how they did the sign language segment. The OP and ED are really brilliant though, so good.

So the MC is imitating Lelouch's smugness, I can get behind that. The episode was pretty tame and enjoyable but I'm still waiting for that twist to happen. It was nice seeing the MC get his ass beat though. All in all I enjoyed it, but screw the little sister though meh.

I put together a cheap Charlotte OT and my work laptop just crashed and won't stay on, wtf... Dealing with I.S. on Wednesday is going to be a nightmare if these screen s pop back up when they remotely restore it.. uugghh. Nothing NSFW, but still..

Well DBZ Kai Buu Arc a recut of 20 year old footage ended a few weeks ago in Japan and despite hearing comments of a dub being worked upon we've seen nothing official from Funimation. Mind you the Kai Buu Saga started in Japan in April of 2014 so it's been 15 months since it aired there and no official word of the dub we all know they're working on/made already. Who knows when we'll get official confirmation of DBS dubbed.

Rokka Braves of the 6 Flowers 1

Mostly a set up episode though the fight scene with our MC was pretty sweet. Looks like the story doesn't really begin until next week though.

My expectations are met. This looks good, great for Toei. Japanese voices are fine, never had a problem with them to begin with. I expect people will be upset at how goofy this is going to be but screw 'em, next episode sounds amazing.

Also holy shit Dragon Ball is back. All those Dragon Ball AF kids on DeviantArt vindicated after a decade

I didn't realize how much I missed this show until it came back. And jesus christ it was a blast hanging out with the restaurant crew again. Seems like there are some slight changes to the status-quo but over-all reality is still the same

I seriously forgot how goofy and silly Dragon Ball can be and I enjoyed every second of it. If I can get these enjoyable sol shenanigans then this season of Dragon Ball will be a great ride. Man was this episode so good, you've done good Toei.

Just because a series has rape in it does not mean it's a bad series or should be instantly dismissed

Well this was mostly boring set up, something about this show just isn't clicking with me. Easily the worst thing I've seen so far this season mostly due to indifference

After watching the DBS opening, I kinda want to watch it now. The opening isn't good by any stretch of the imagination (goes without saying that it doesn't touch OG Cha-La Head-Cha-La) but seeing the characters again is fun. The series has just started but I need to wait until there's a decent number of episode to jump into because I can never do one a week or whatever, that shit is the worst! D:

I never really watched much of anything post DBZ like the films or whatever so I don't remember videl looking like this, she looks super cool/cute. That's my take away from this!

I'm not going to stop watching because it has rape, but I mean... you don't get excited and start going "OH hell yes, rape in my anime, exactly what I wanted"... do you? I'm not ignoring it because of it, I give things a chance.

That's all it means, really. I liked what I saw from GATE and I'll most definitely fall for the girls too, sorceress looks super adorable and cute, can't wait to meet her and things like that.

I really don't give a shit about gritty things such as Berserk ( This doesn't mean I think Berserk is bad, it's just not a series I'm interested in.). Rape doesn't mean something is bad at all, but I still don't like it, and nothing about what I've seen of Gate made me think it was going to be that kind of show. It wasn't what I signed up for, so it's dropped.

Of course not, I'm not excited that a series has rape in it nor am I so appalled that I refuse to give it a chance. If anything I'd rather have not known it was coming that way I'm not anticipating it every other scene. I do think what Puruzi said about it not being what they signed up for does summarize I think my main problem with Gate in that it seems unsure what kind of tone it wants to have. Some scenes in the OP and in the first episode makes the series seem like it wants to be this fun fantasy/adventure with military elements, other scenes it seems to want to tell a dark/violent war story between two worlds. If the series was straight up one way or the other it'd be probably have grabbed my interest more.

Welp from what I remember, read the manga over a few months ago, there is
rape.
But I dont know if the show will reach that point in the manga, also the episode was "censor" compare to the manga. I dont really consider it a harem for the most part. The
rape does feel like its toss in from what I remember but it also kinda falls in tone with the setting.
However there are other silly things that bother me when I read the manga such as the (disclaimer this is spoiling other things beside what was mention above)
Russian, USA, Chinese (?) spec opes battle
Still give it a chance since it was a good read.
edit: should read over things before I post :p
