MS are so behind in terms of LE consoles this generation, what the hell are they doing. We had Gears, Halo, Star Wars and a number of LE consoles last gen and now we aren't getting shit...unless you attend specific events based in the US...

Im pretty sure none of those LEs came out in the first year. Halo 3 one was 2007? Im not sure what else before then, we had the COD one last holiday and the white one, wasn't until 2007 they did the Elite in Black (vs White which was holiday 2006 equivalent)
I doubt those LEs are worth producing any actual amount as they're expensive and not many would buy them, unless you want to pay a significant premium for them.
Forza is getting one this holiday and Halo 5 will undoubtedly get one, they will start ramping up them now (and I suspect we'll get an XB1 slim next year too), Gears 4 is next year too they won't miss out on that one

My wife actually was happy to see this collection announced surprisingly enough! She played both Pinata games with the kids and I and loved them both enough for the 1000gs on each! She has hand written encyclopedias and countless printed documents about growing things and reproduction and other mini games etc etc so on and so forth! I love it! Seeing her excited about games is not something that happens often enough, and when it does she normally plays mobile which is fine by me. This will be nice to sit and chat while we casually work on gardens together. I can't believe it has been since 06 and 08 for these two titles alone! Some of the older games I am loving too because I played them all damn near at one point.

Welp, I'll be the odd man out then. That is not an attractive limited edition at all IMO. I do think it's cool that they are doing a Rare Replay themed console though. If I won it or whatever I wouldn't complain. Only one made? Quite Rare indeed. GET IT??? I'll see myself out.

So how is the Rare panel going to work? What kind of people from Rare will be there? If they're going to talk about the past, they'll probably have some veterans there, right? Is it only going to be people that are employed at Rare currently or will there be former employees as well?
