Really digging Doji-katsu

My biggest pet peeve about this series is not being able to put a head accessory on one costume without it showing up on the other. Otherwise i would have put on her hat too. :(

THEY FIXED THE PANTY LOTTERY! Why was I not informed. It now starts with you giving 1 instead of 0 money units, so you can just mash O to get through in instead of menuing. Glorious day.

Also liking Daidoji so far, just started playing with the new stuff. How do I know where to find the new purupuru finishes? Can I just buy them in the shop or do they unlock like the rest?

BTW is there a bug with Rin where the camera adjustment gets stuck at a low speed? Happens to me every once in a while, I never noticed it before. Goes away after several seconds but it's a pretty major slowdown.

Also, the new puru purus are pretty funny. Here's some shots of one (obviously NSFW)

Does anyone have particularly good block/taunt animations? I never thought to check, though I noticed Ryona's block is pretty fantastic.

This one was already in the game at release.

Were there some mechanics changed? It seems the invincibility frames for super moves aren't active immediately? I've been hit out of/hit people out of super moves, I don't think that was possible before.

edit: UGH, save before spamming the panty lottery, I just got a crash

With good timing you can escape some combos should you cancel at the right time.
The rest if pretty much the same.
In short the invicibles frammes are still there for you , but the hitbox are a little different I guess ?

Yeah the baths weren't in the story i believe.

You should look forward to the cage, the different ones in the mall ( new stage ) and the multiples finishers

I did some more lottery-spamming (good LORD it takes longer than I remembered...I wish I could use my PS3 arcade stick for this) and it didn't crash this time.

Also, I've still never tried the online--is 1v1 possible? Is there a guide to navigating the online memu? I have the single player stuff down.

I mean you're still invincible a few frames AFTER it starts, but I swear you used to be able to avoid an in-progress ninpo simply by firing your own if you still had control of your character. I tried that a few times and canceled a few of the AI's ninpos in the same situation last night.

What's the deal with multiple finishers? I guess I have to do that in levels vs multiple enemies? Suggestions on where to do that?

I have completed the main story of the game and I'm almost finished with the side missions (I think I have five left). I'm trying to get all of the trophies as well. How do you do a combined arial rave? Also, I trying to get the supermodel trophy. Do you have to unlock all of the store items first to be able to do that? I have gone through all of the poses on a couple of the characters and haven't unlocked that one yet. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Sharefactory got updated.. now you can't use it to bypass the ESTIVAL VERSUS video protection.
Vids made in either the estival versus folder or vid made by sharefactory that contain a bit of a vid in the estival versus folder can't be shared anymore.

I want to hit someone.

Ok, I need a little help in obtaining all of the trophies. The only trophy I need left is the OCD trophy for buying all of the store's items. I beat the main game and all of the sub missions and have purchased everything in the store and the trophy still didn't trigger. Does anyone know why and what I need to do more to get it?

Okay, I guess I was wrong about the difficulty modes. The highest difficulty makes trash enemies WAY more aggressive so maybe it is a legit difficult mode instead of just slow and boring. More testing is needed. Might stream me playing later though it'd be embarrassing to keep looking like I was when I tried purple difficulty.

My capture card sucks. at least i can still export the vid on an usb drive to share it later

Lame. I still think sharing/streaming/shareplay should be totally universal, no ability to stop it by Sony or dev. At least the screenshot button still works.

You need to unlock all the puru puru finishes and then they appear in the store to be bought.

Hmmmmmm, Ayame COULD be out this week, according to Kenichiro's twitter (slight NSFW). It translated to among the lines of "Let's get revved up this week!" & this week IS the start of July, which is when they stated she'd be released.

Nobody seems to have posted that the game got it first sets of DLC last week (accessories, outfits, and hair) and was updated to 1.08.

Once the US version is out (& SK2), I'll reprise my role as "SK DLC Informer Person". Hard to know about the DLC when none of the sites post about it (even Gematsu or Siliconera) or it being a pain to check the JPN PSN.

Any word on what 1.08 does? I would assume get the game ready for Ayame, plus small bug fixes.

It already had like two updates since the new characters, what did any of 'em do? Best update ever was fixing the panty lottery to start at 1 coin instead of 0.

Is there a list of finishers including the new group ones? I Assume I'll never find 'em on my own especially having already finished the main story and about 1/4th of side stories.

Could be, ayame is coming "july". Who's left to add? I noticed what looks like a row for extra DLC characters in addition to Ayame and Ayane? Also is Ayane free or paid?

There was the 3 Ikki Tousen characters. I think after that, it might be it considering that's 5 characters which would be enough to "fill" a school.

Ayane, I imagine is going to be paid.

Ohhh right...still got two empty slots though. Feels like free DLC on the right and paid on the bottom. If Ayane is paid that leaves one free and one paid slot unclaimed, no?

Hmmmmmm, interesting. I would assume the bottom row will be all the crossover characters, then under Daidouji & Rin, it'd be Ayame since she's part of the series. So yeah, I 'd hvae to agree that would leave enough room for one more freebie/patch character, then another crossover character. Maybe they'll have someone else from DoA like Kasumi.

Hahahahaha, maybe Hanzo will finally be playable. ;p Or maybe that Rule 63 version of Ikaruga's brother they had up for April Fools, since they could base the moveset from SK2.

The update bug curse strikes again-- patch 1.09 is being pulled before release and now we'll get version 1.10 on 7/7.

What even was 1.09, Ayane? I'd be annoyed but honestly I'm impressed to see how much the game's been patched. I never really though Japanese games got that many improvements via patch but then again I'm usually playing them after localizing which is probably after most patches. I wonder if the English version will have the free DLC stuff on disk or still a patch download.
