it was 10 minutes tops. that's about the total amount of play time some people have seen since this started. he's been getting in relatively quickly (compared to hours of attempts) and staying in until they literally kill the servers
It's pretty blatant isn't it

I think they'll count this as the first day since people are actually playing. Neverending the fact that a shit ton of people can't login and it's always at capacity. Amh

Ehh i would hope not, Ive gotten in twice today, but there are still many who haven't played a match.

Can you believe these people trying to act like max being able to get on the servers so quickly is just pure luck.

Im in training but looks like no matchmaking? I don't see the little purple symbol that's usually in the middle of the bottom screen.

You're from Toronto too right? Haven't heard of anyone from here getting in yet.

That's sort of the point of having the beta, though. So that in the next phase stuff like this is worked out. They're doing 3 beta runs, right?

As a hardcore proper beta, sure I imagine they are getting some good data out of this.

As a preorder bonus beta, it's a debacle.

Also, at some point I'm sure they want to get information on something other than getting people into the server. Actually match data would probably useful.

I would hope not as well, but they're constantly at capacity so my thinking is they severely underestimated the load the servers was going to take, but I may be wrong.

If this is how some of you react to a bad beta, I hope you never have to deal with non-elective issues or else it could create a domino effect after the inevitable heart attack

Can you believe people actually think Capcom would mess with their servers in a network test to allow a single specific person to play in order to promote their game instead of letting people play in order to promote their game?

Yeah, but I only got in last night in the super eaaaaaarly morning like 3-4AM. And that's after zero dice period up until that point trying every day during the whole beta period.

The single person happens to be the most watched stream of SFV.

I don't think you realize how incredibly influential this one person is compared to the rest. And it's not like he's taking 50 spots, he's taking one.

7:40PM: We are going to be shutting the servers off briefly for some short maintenance. This may interrupt the current session, but should allow a new group of users to be able to join. We expect to have the server running again around 8:00PM.

With my weekend pretty much gone looks like i wont be taking part in the beta after all. Well, at least the game/art looks cool on the dynamic menu.

Was wondering why my game completely closed out after getting disconnected

Why is it so hard to believe Capcom would give one of a limited number of open spots to someone who can promote the game to a lot of people rather than giving it to someone else? The total number playing the game is still the same, the white list doesn't mean less people can play. It just means he's getting priority and an unfair advantage on getting on
