I've recently upgraded my 3DS and got the 3DS version. Maybe I should have got a Wii U.
...Eh, I needed to upgrade that anyway,

Nani? The dub is awesome. Not as good as The Last Story's but no way a "low quality" one.
Quick question, Off TV Play is also enabled since there is gamepad support ?
Yes. This really needs to be added to the OP.
My original Wii save will work with this, right?
I just double dipped because I'm a fucking moron.
And I won't sell my 3DS copy because I'm a fucking moron.

What kind of controllers are usable? I can't seem to find that anywhere. If, and that's a big if I suppose, I can use the gamepad as controller and look at the TV, I'll buy this...
So guys, did the other games that launched first in Europe launched in NA at some point?
You can do that, as it's a game that supported the Classic Controller.
NoA please. I haven't played any of the Wii u vc games yet but this is the perfect one to release after Kirby due to the price. No way am I playing the 3ds game I can barely stand to play exclusives on that hand cramping battery hog
Well, we did just get Kirby: Return to Dreamland last week, which had been out in Europe for a while. We're still way behind, though, as we still lack DKCR, Pandora's Tower, and S&P2.
Thanks! So I assume the gamepad will just be dark right, like DKC TF?
Are you describing the original 3DS there? Because the new 3DS (which you need to even play this game) doesn't have those problems.
Kirby's Epic Yarn and PokéPark Wii as well.
I'm sorry.
No. It will just show what's on the TV. All Wii games, whether download, disc or VC, support Off TV play.
PokePark is a weird one, since that's only out in Europe right now. Not even Japan has it.
...of course, Japan already has SMG1 and is about to receive Trauma Team and Muramasa, so it evens out. What I'm trying to say is NOA are fucking idiots.

You can transfer the individually from Wii to a SD, then copy it on Wii U (Wii mode)Can I transfer my save? Or do you need to do the whole system transfer Wii > Wii U for that to work?
If it comes out in NA this will be me.
Wish there was some super secret sauce that could make my 3DS save a Wii save. :/
Blergh, no discount on the game like the previous Wii re-releases?
£17.99 rubs me the wrong way when I've a physical Wii copy and a 3DS copy. xD
NA release when?
I don't know your eShop history but just so you know if you system transfered over to a New 3DS you can not transfer back to an old one. I can only think this was done to stop you having the ability to download New 3DS exclusive games on an older 3DS (where they would fail to run).I think my New 3DS and Xenoblade 3D cartridge might be finding themselves on Ebay in the near future. Never really been happy with the small size, or playing the game on such a tiny screen, but at the time it was the only option I had. Much rather go back to my old 3DS XL and restart Xenoblade on my Wii U.
You can look at it as getting it for £8.99 when committing to purchase Xenoblade Chronicles X at silly eShop prices when it comes out in December.
Not really. The prices on the eshop aren't that great in comparison to retail anyway. Not to mention, I'll be getting the Limited Edition regardless.

all GC and Wii games run in 60Hz
not even an issue to be argued
And furthermore, how does this compare with the N3DS remake?
Yeah, that's why I said "silly eShop price"
Even with the discount, it still won't be as cheap as somewhere like Amazon or ShopTo. UK eShop prices are especially bad. (For example, this is €19.99, so should be £13.91 on the eShop.)
Only the first three Wii games got a 50% launch discount.
Also, you can just sell your physical copy and make a plus. That's what I did after they released the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Do you expect Nintendo to deflate UK prices, just because the value of the Euro is tanking right now?
