U2 are a really fantastic band. I don't care for any of them as people, but its hard for me to argue against albums like Achtung Baby and Joshua Tree. They make some great rock and roll, uh, music.

i think he was one of the best lead singers in the 80s/90s.
still got a good voice even now but i don't really like their 00s albums. it's kind of cheesy stuff. but yeah he can still perform.

I think his goals would be better served if he focused on being the best musician he possibly could be, and gave lots and lots of 'international superstar' money to people who are working full time on the causes he worries so much about.
