That white controller is totally ruined by the gold Dpad, It looks hideous. I had a white controller that came with the SO bundle and it was gorgeous. Can't believe what a difference that Dpad color makes.

I am definitely going to do this. I still have an original model controller that must go, and I'd really like the Locke one. I would highly recommend doing this to anyone that has not upgraded to one of the new model controllers. The new bumpers are a game changer for the XB1 controller.

I purchased the lunar white one for primary use on my PC and I like it a lot. Maybe I'll trade in my original pad for console, as well.

In my experience they usually just do a quick visual inspection for controller trade ins. But YMMV.
