Man, that's some heavy dissonance between the 3D and 2D.

What even is this?

so I was right, cheap one (physical) is not a steam key, dlc has nothing to do with it, it can be just a regular install, or you have reasons to think it's a steam key?

edited: if that's the case it's taking steam tax to heights never seen before, if not, it's taking digital tax there.

Do you have a reason to think it's not a Steam key? Every Activision game uses Steamworks and every retail game sold on Amazon just says 'PC'.

For you.

do they say it's a steam code?

What would make you think it's not a steam code?

It's a Activision game. It will be a steam code.

honest question: Is Transformers anime?

The Japanese animations are, the western ones, not so much at least from what I've seen.
FUnnily enough there hasn't been a Japanese TF animatd series in more than 5 years (if not 10 @_@)

This thread was hyping some transformers and now no is talking about it. What happened?

Fuck that QAR Tool it's a pain to use. On nexus mods there's a already changed data file. This is what I used and it worked perfectly.

Most of the hype went to the OT :3

Starting my Hard diff. playthrough!

I checked when you posted it, I've seen no mention of steam anywhere, then again I'm blind, that's why I'm asking.

No but even Black Ops 3 doesn't mention Steam on the page for the retail version and we know it'll be using that. Is there a chance? Sure and the pricing is weird, maybe someone could ask Acti via Twitter? I'll be waiting for sub-10€ anyway.

I always have a soft spot for indie devs even if I won't give them my money. They at least tried to make something. Not everyone can be a wizard like the guy who made Dust.

I mean they don't have their own service...yet.

I was very tempted to avatar quote you with that pic, the resemblance! But I got a hold of myself in time

That's not the point, even 3-4 years ago I would have been outraged if I bought a PC game and it was for steam only. You have to mention things like that, or you'll be sued some day and there is no reason not to.

Amazon pages often don't list at all where the retail version activates or which DRM is included.

They are bloody lucky I never bought games there, because delivery was too expensive for me and they don't accept paypal.

I like MGS4, but at least it's a concluded story. Convoluted as shit for sure.

MGS5' story is a hot mess. Gameplay is top notch, sure. But the story that was shipped...is a mess.

I say the same thing about MGS4 so each their own. For me the MGSV gameplay makes up for the rest of it. Not like I hold the series in high regards after MGS3.

I'll take the stop gap story with awesome gameplay over the 8 hours of cutscenes out of a 10 hour game.

Nah you got a point. I was just more commenting on they haven't made a service yet lol.

You know, I'm half-way through it and as someone who played all the previous games, I'm having so much fun playing it that I don't care anymore.
I remember playing Just Cause 2 and having a blast beating the game without really caring about what was going on and I'm gradually entering the same mindset with this game.
And that's totally OK. Isn't that what truly matters afterall?
So the franchise has a tradition of being story focused. But was that story ever actually good? It had it's moments but honestly, it's not a big loss.
I genuinely think MGS3 has a good story, but after what PW did to it, I'm actually glad it's kept at a minimum in V.

Pretty much, but let's keep the discussion accurate.
MGS4 does have around 10 hours of cutscenes but it's also a 20 hour game, so there's still the same amount of gameplay you get in your average SP campaign.

Let me look at my save file. I seriously beat it watching all cutscenes far under 20. I mean BB extreme being a base for beating in under 1 hour 30 kind of leads a bit of credit to my remark.

I hope it doesn't have 10 hours of cutscenes because I finished it in 14 and a half hours the first time I played it watching all the cutscenes and codec calls. There's no way it's a 20 hour game.

I have no idea which to get :/

£45 for this Friday

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ZF6Y73K/

Or £18 with no date attached to it :/

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ZU7WQNW/

I have no idea what's going on with the physical PC version. Some stores show it releasing Friday, some have no date, and some list November.

Someone talk some sense into me, I just got a bit hyped for fallout 4.

It's Bethesda.

Expect the game to be shallow, unoptimized, buggy, and ugly.

How long to beat:

Main Story 18½ Hours
Main + Extra 22 Hours
Completionist 26½ Hours

Personally, my first playthrough took me almost exactly 20 hours.

Metal gear solid 4 all cutscenes: (9:27 hours)

I guess that works as a average which it is. But I know I was vastly under that. But then that's the case for me with most games I play.

People like MGS4, what did you think was gonna be in there?
Hey now, that's not nice. I'm about to finish MGS4, and it's been absolutely awesome. So much MGS1 fan service, I can't even finish digesting the last piece that a new one is beginning to be shoved into my throat. And I love it!

I'm sad that I had many things about this game spoiled beforehand, but I'm enjoying it immensely nevertheless. Gameplay is the best I've seen in the series, except maybe for the 2 minutes I messed around in PS3 Ground Zeroes.

And I'm really digging the plot. It's been rather straightforward so far (just like MGS3 for most of the game), though I know there is going to be some weird stuff in the ending (like
Ocelot hypnotizing himself to believe he is Liquid
, and again like MGS3).

Just consider me a bitter MGS fan. Series didn't go the way I want and I never got over it.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Seeing that link on that twitter post and how much that person is pulling in a week has me reevaluating what the fuck I'm doing here at work.

The same thing happens to me when I occasionally wander on to Jim Sterling's Patreon page. Nothing wrong with someone like him getting paid for what he does - I love his videos and sometimes read his reviews and such - but boy is there a stark difference between his current $11,416 monthly pledge and my $197 that barely covers server costs.

Not that I need that kind of money, but it'd certainly be enough that I could quit my day job and work on Enhanced Steam / Idle Master / whatever full time. I'm actually really grateful that I'm not having to dish out server costs from my own pocket any more though, don't get me wrong.

Sorry. It was funnier in my head. I do tend to play games faster than most people so that explains that but I can't believe there is almost 10 hours of cutscenes in MGS4. Makes me never want to play it through again, jeez.

I honestly still don't get it :)
I'm not even sure if it's a Pokemon lol.

Guess you can argue they said "should" but I'm pretty sure they would have said if it wasn't. Plus should can apply to a retail copy missing a code or what have you.
