wishes it were bannable to say mean things about Marvel
So, the game Towerclimb is awesome fun. Basically a bit like spelunky, but spending your time climbing through the procedurally generated levels to get as high as possible. It's remarkably tense as you keep going and he addicitve

That actually sounds interesting.

Zestiria is at 64% of the final preorder bonus with two weeks to go. It's also in the top 20 sellers. I think that should work out fine.

Yeah, it will get the third tier easily. In the launch week it will probably climp to the top 10 sellers and fill the rest of the bar.

There's currently a career fair going on at my school right now and Blizzard is attending. While im not qualified to apply, i had to swipe a free pen and a lanyard.

Hey, feel free to prove me wrong :p
can't remember there being that many of those things in the first place but on the top of my head the bio infinite and tomb raider bonuses were really average stuff. if you actually remember of anything good by all means lemme know, but that i remember, blegh

also, there's no need to gamify everything, it's annoying.

edit: at least we can agree that regular preorder bonuses are shit. in the best case scenario they're harmless, in the worst cases you start out with 10k money and completely ruin the balance of the game.

Just started System Shock

OH DEAR GOD THE CAMERA!!

I thought this new version had mouse look?

EDIT: Oh I figured it out, I have to enable it by pressing E =/

Oh this has not aged well, even with the improvements.

For you.

Bioshock Infinite had the following:
-Fuckload of TF2 items that sold for a good price
-Xcom Enemy Unknown
-Bioshock 1
-some random dlcs

Dunno, seems pretty good to me.

Tales is even better, they are giving you the next game they are porting months before it's even released.

I really don't see the issue or the "gamifying" complaints. They all unlock anyways (well, with very rare exceptions) and they are often better deals than regular preorders.

k. installing armikrog

wish me luck. I really wanna like it

As is, the main issue is the lack of a proper UI; you basically use your computer's mouse cursor to interact with objects and characters in a room.
There is no inventory in this game so you just find items and they'll be used automatically on the object they are designated for.
Has great visuals, and dat intro is catchy.

alright, didn't remember about xcom

i'll think about this some more, try and see if i'm not just being knee jerk about it and better figure out why it bothers me.

Loads up Witcher III after not playing it for months, completely forgot the controls, gets into a fight with a bunch of level 12 bandits when I'm level 20 and promptly get my arse handed to me. Well that was a rude awakening.

Indeed, probably wouldn't have played X-Com otherwise and it ended up being one of my favorite games of the year.
Also made a couple of euros from the TF2 items.

Oh good God no, I can't do this, this is so dated o_o

some games are very much a you-had-to-be-there thing.

I recommend you try out SS2 with the mods and stuff, it holds a bit better than SS1 but might still be too dated depending on what you grew up with.

edit: i see you played through SS2 already. well then, i've got nothing for ya

Yeah, I played SS2 when it was last rereleased on gog, what 2 years ago?
Plus I played Deus Ex like 8 years after it came out and it's my favourite game ever :p

So I think I can put up with a lot with old games, certainly graphics, but my god the controls on SS1 are horrible >_<

System shock 2 is as far back as I'll go. I saw LGRs review of it and knew I wouldn't be able to get into SS1. Hell he wasn't really all that into either.

I want this but not for $17 CDN.

Bought. 3rd one from BundleStars this week I've bought.

I bought the FPS Heroes Bundle, Indie Heroes Bundle, and now this Killer Bundle 5.

$10 for 26 games...yeah.

Those 3 are the best bundles go look at the games included they are almost all positively reviewed.

And most have cards so you can sell them and get at least half your money back. :D
