The moist from my thumbs are certainly destroying the sticks on my DS4
But that is also because of the applied pressure from the thumbs while the rubber gets soft.
The regular Xbone controller has harder and denser rubber, so it ain't affected.
The elite should use even better materials.

Same here, but I'm going to all night Halo, and then use the controller arriving as a second wind to carry me into the next day. That way I can Halo for 24+ hours.

I moved the controllers upstairs, to my room, and forgot they were there when I went to shower. I had the door closed and the window open, so it's unlikely moisture really seeped into the adjacent room, after going sideways through the hallway...but it's still bugging me.

I tried to preorder one at gamestop the other day and they are no longer taking preorders in store. Online orders only ship to your house, you cant choose in-store pickup.

Germany got pushed back to November 4th.
It's also sold out and they send me an email that not everyone that pre-ordered it might get it due to low volumes Microsoft made.
They're talking about new orders. There is a note on the amazon page:

Doesn't matter to me, I'm keeping it wired. It will be nice not having to mess with charging batteries all the time.
I'm in the same boat, so I'm just going to suggest it to my wife for a Christmas present and leave it in her hands.

I'd be all for it if it were $25-$50 bucks cheaper. It just doesn't really seem like enough in there to justify an extra $90 in cost over a standard controller.
I'm also concerned for the lifespan of the controller especially since I've run through two controllers now only from playing Killer Instinct since launch.

looks like a supply issue or very popular. On Amazon if you didn't order it last week you are not getting it at launch. There is warning on the page also.

The xbox store now says that it will be shipped by Nov. 2nd, when I bought it it said I would get it on release day. I bought this shit for Halo 5 you dumbasses, fix your shit.

Why would they work to fix it when they still are gonna get your money? All they have to do is wait. The most you could do is try and get in contact with someone and try and debate that the shipping should be free on it because of the upset.

Do they have lower sticks that are more similar to the 360's sticks or DualShock 4's? I love the Xbone controller, but those sticks are little too raised for my taste.

You can still order them on Newegg.com. No sales tax, so that should offset the shipping if you want to do 2 business day or next business day shipping.
