Deleted stack of Strange Coins by mistake
Went to PoE to grind 31 Coins hoping for the only exotic I don't own: the Promise.

Got Lord of Wolves :(

What's the current meta? Pulse Rifles, bullshit Snipers/ranged Shotguns, and H&G RCs?

Sniper Rifles that are impossible to miss with, and weapons that stagger to make it impossible to snipe, give or take the occasional long-ranged Shotgun.

It's not even a joke anymore. It's embarrassing.

Pretty sure they dropped at 265, or was it 365? Yeah for sure level 34 and 365 weapons was what it was.

I used to appreciate getting killed by a "good" snipe, now every snipe is a "good" snipe :/

The teammates were fun even if the gameplay wasn't :p

First run: 312 Auto Rifle
Second Run: 313 Auto Rifle
Third Run: A big middle finger when the Mercy didn't work for Zoba and me even though we'd bought all boons. Only Unstable got to go to Mercury.

Apologies in advance to anyone looking for help with Trials this time. Really really really not feeling it right now :-/

Always enjoy the company of DestinyGAF, but the game man.... it's tough.

We could have clutched that round if we shook things up faster. Or maybe if I was using meta weapons since I'd watch people walk right through my bullets.

Hard to appreciate these fun events when so much else is in disarray.

Trials was interesting, felt like I had fair matches more often as a meddling player, got a 303 shotgun from the gold package. Actually did fairly well to with the new pulse rifle meta, maintained a 1.0 K/D while actually having a losing win percentage. Not proud of the losing win percentage, but I was at least holding my own.

Sunbreakers are totally broken and the Jade Rabbit wrecks.

Worst experience was facing three sunbreakers camping in their starting building letting their supers build. Was really lame but effective strategy.

I like what they did with the rewards though, completely viable alternative to any type of raiding. They should have introduced this earlier in the TTK release so people could of had a choice of how they wanted to level past 290. Maybe not as 310+ endgame, but getting to 310 seems reasonable through this. Plenty of marks, drop chances, and packages.

Based on the earlier loot, your third drop would probably have been a 314 auto rifle...

I don't think I'll be begging for a carry. Besides the cool full auto scout rifle I don't see the point in going to Mercury.

Heck, I don't even see the point in raiding anymore.

Maybe it's me but the game has let me down too much lately for me to want to play it.

Thanks for the runs it was an exercise in frustration tonight. I went with KDs of anything from 7, 4.5, 3, 2, 1.5s and loads of sub 1s - Its a hard map to get any kind of groove going due to the multitude of different routes.

Still not bad considering I've not really PvP'd since TTK dropped, a couple of weeks practice and I'll get there or there abouts

Silver gave me a blue engram (thanks Luke :p) and gold the Helm at 303

I'm only missing Promise too. I figured I'd skip the legacy engram. I can maybe kill minions of the darkness by throwing 31 coins at them more readily than using Greg.

Are the Trials weapons not good? The Pulse looks hot as fuck. That's the only reason I want it. Love my Hawksaw and Nurwen's Mercy and I don't know if that Pulse is better.

Man, I must have got really lucky getting the two exotics I didn't currently own from the legacy engram. Figured it would just give you what you don't have, but there's still RNG? Crazy.

I think the new classes play apart in it. I just can't figure out what it is about the current Trials environment that just feels off. Maybe because of the lackluster rewards? Destiny fatigue?

I got the Shotgun with Rangefinder and Life Support, looks like it's going to outplay the raid shotgun and might actually be pretty decent. Going to give it a whirl. The scout rifle Unstable was using looked pretty cool.

The gameplay was significantly slower and it was much harder to go out on your own. Getting ganged up on by more than one Pulse Rifle was certain death and all the while you had to have eyes on the back of your head for snipers. Then there is the constant anticipation of a Sunbreaker using his super that makes everything more timid. The entire experience was intense, but it seemed everyone played a conservative game of hide and seek. Different than almost any other ToO event I've played in.

Wait. Are you not feeling carries or not feeling Trials a whole. If it's Trials as a whole, then that's a bummer given your status with King's Fall. :-/

If you feel like scrubbing it up at somepoint in either KF or Trials, I'm still around.
