Display flickering or corruption may be experienced when playing videos in a web browser.
DiRT Rally™ may experience poor performance on some tracks with rainy/night scenes.

The AMD Crossfire™ technology mode options in Radeon Settings may not take effect on Origin or Uplay applications.
Fallout™ 4 may experience flickering in AMD Crossfire™ technology mode for some game textures.

Radeon Settings gaming profile options for Uplay applications may not take effect.
Forza Motorsport 6: Apex™ may exhibit brightness flickering when using AMD FreeSync™ technology.
Frame Rate Target Control gaming profiles may fail to enable for some games.
On some AMD XConnect™ technology external GPU enclosures, a TDR may be observed when the dGPU is set to primary display and the laptop display is set to extended display with video playback.
Crashes when using GL_ARB_bindless_texture with AMD drivers.

yeah i was just on guru3d on a lark and read about this

im assuming someone grabbed this before amd pulled it?

I had problems with the old CCC since I upgraded to Windows 10, so this is pretty nice for me.

It loads faster, too.

But don't expect miracles with these drivers. You aren't going to unlock a secret processor with this :p

just downloaded the new Crimson update so haven't had time to really do anything with it...but on looks alone it's far better than Catalyst ever was...really slick

DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 support:
Provides full support for DisplayPort to HDMI® 2.0 connections via certified dongles.

Welp, this may fix everyone who was QQ'ing about no HDMI 2.0 support for Fury. Now we need the testing.

WCCFTech posted a performance analysis of the new drivers. It's showing increased FPS. Woot!
damn... Is like buying a new gpu overall.

Just installed it and lol the CCC is still there for additional Display Settings, but also VSR works over the d-sub connection on my second display.

edit: Just tried Witcher 3 quickly and it seems smoother MSI AB overlay wasn't working for some reason.

just installed it crossfire is finally working for me in battlefront 2x 290x 160 fps at 1080p think its time to upgrade to 1440p once i find a good one with freesync and 144hz ips

Just installed them, the UI is really pretty looks really slick, and I like that it detects all my games and I can edit settings and launch them directly through the program. And it opens faster than CCC, a LOT faster.

The DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 is confusing. I didn't think you could go from HDMI to DP without an active converter.

I know @Thracks was talking about this on twitter back when Fury dropped. I think they have some certified adapters that they "guarantee" will work. Or something like that. Hopefully this is good news and works well.

Still no mention of a Crossfire profile for Elite: Dangerous, I guess twelve months isn't long enough for AMD to come up with one.

They've announced since a year agothey were going to end support for their VLIW microarch cards.

What a shame, I had hoped my 6950 would last me until the die shrink. Looking unlikely now with no support and game performance getting worse and worse.

Well to be fair it's a nearly 5-year old architecture at this point.

Also wow @ those Fury improvements. It's literally like buying a brand new card.

But an adapter shouldn't need "support". Thats the point of the adapter. The way this sounds is like you can just plug up an HDMI to DisplayPort cable and get 4K. I wonder if they had this planned from the beginning and could be a reason behind their mind boggling exemption of HDMI 2.0 for their cards.

Anyone with a Fury care able to test that?

Does this still have multi-display profiles? Any noticable missing advanced settings? I always get nwrvous when companies tout 'simpler' UIs these days.

I need to know this aswell before I install it, also, does it have advanced Eyefinity settings like mixed resolution multi display support? I guess I can just downgrade if they dont have it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't really work that way, since HDMI uses hardware-enforced DRM. It's the reason several of those cheap Chinese cloned HDMI cables don't work (either properly or at all).
