We are excited to announce that the latest iteration and first home console release in our busty brawler series, SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS, will launch on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system with a limited "Endless Summer" retail release containing an art book packed full of artwork from the SENRAN KAGURA series, a randomly chosen set of 2.5" by 3.5" collectible "pin-up cards" featuring a selection of buxom beauties from one of ESTIVAL VERSUS' playable factions, and a 2-disc soundtrack.

ABOUT

In SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS, a mystical phenomenon transports the shapely shinobi of the titular series to a parallel dimension to face off against their rivals in a new kind of battle. In this strange-but-sunny island paradise, the girls find themselves face to face with their departed loved ones. Can they bear to part from them a second time?

With over two dozen characters, making this the biggest roster in the series' history, SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS boasts more moves, more story, more attitude, and more destruction online with matches that can support up to 10 players (PS4™ system version only; "PSVita" system supports up to 4 players). All the previous shinobi girls return with a host of upgraded moves to master, and new playable characters offer more challenges to conquer, along with a story that's equal parts sexy and shocking, serious and scandalous, busty and bouncy.

SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS is coming Q1 2016 to PS4™ and "PSVita" systems. The limited Endless Summer physical release has a suggested retail price of $59.99 for PS4™ system and $49.99 for "PSVita" system, while the digital release of the game on the PlayStation®Store will be available for $49.99 on PS4™ system and $39.99 on "PSVita" system. The Endless Summer physical release will be available for pre-orders with retail partners shortly.
This title has been rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB.

Cute cover. The LE isnt bad especially since its just $10 more but man the LE's Europe gets are amazing.

Any differences between ps4 or vita version? (besides HD life and hometown)

60fps on PS4, more players online, and 5 characters on screen for that photo mode thing? Forgot specifically what it was. Anyway ps4 is a no brainer if you have it.

EV is 60fps on PS4, 30fps on Vita

For an action game like this I find that to be a rather big dealbreaker, but ultimately it's up to you if you need the portable experience or not

The boobs game.

With ninjas.

Are the game mechanics any good? Admittedly I've only seen youtube uploads of previous titles... and there seems to be a heavy emphasis on fan service

Looking forward to being able to preorder this. A shame US release misses out on the LEs that EU got :(

Decent beat 'em up. It's similar to a musou in that there are alot of playable characters and large scale battles, but lacks the light rpg elements. I'd say the combat is responsive, offers a bit of depth, and has enough character variety for me to consider it decent, if a bit repetitive. It's clearly a fanservice game first and foremost and if that bothers you, you shouldn't get it.

Talk about dedication to a typo.

Didn't pick up Shinovi Versus even though the gameplay seemed interesting. Might get this one.
For the plot

Ok, thanks for the response.

I think I might pick it up used somewhere down the line if it gets cheap.

It's far better than it has any right to be. It is still first and foremost a booby game, but if you're going to be play a boob game, you might as well play one that plays well.

Day 1 for Vita. I need more life in my life.

Hopefully XSEED soon will anounce rest of their 2016 lineup. I'll be really disapppointed if Tokyo Xanadu, Net High and Luminous Arc aren't part of it.
