Sorry for checking in so close to deadline, pre-christmas family stuff is taking its share.

This is one of the weirdest D1s I've ever seen. If it really comes down to a Mazre vs. Ty4on thunderdome I think it's pretty clear on which side I stand. Mazre still hasn't done anything contributive at all since my last post on him (followed by my vote). I have to admit tough, I just don't know what to make of him putting himself up there right now (There were tons of other people with 2 votes on them). This seems incredibly risky for Scum... Not that I would complain as he was (and still is) my top scum suspect and Ty4on on the other side seems to panic hard right now...

Other comments I'd like to make on today's events (Not much there because it's mainly Ty4on writing triple posts and comments on them which already got answered, etc.)

Scummy:
Royal is a soft read as he has been quite active, but his town rubs me the wrong way (and there's more of it than in Night Vale) and he hasn't been that active.
Karu has posted a lot of fluff and stuff I could imagine scum Karu posting.
Burb is also a little worrying in that he hasn't been involved in much friction. That's super useful for scum in the long run as there's less to suspect them with and harder to find mates if we finally lynch them.
Kawl has posted a lot of long posts, but what I've read ends up being very soft and meandering. Could be how he writes (Trigger in NV comes to mind) though.

I'm a little safer on Crimson, Flux and squidy. Flux has stepped it up and is actively in the conversation. I know Crimson fooled many in woof so I should go back to him, but he has also been active and looking like he was trying to get stuff done. I've said stuff about squidy before, but he looks similar, but more like a townie figuring out stuff and making gambits than a scum knowing everything and being bored.

You changed your vote, but I'm still curious. Why Royal? You neither had a direct interaction with him nor did you ask him any questions whatsoever. I'll give you the fact, that you mentioned him since the beginning, but not much else. Where are you coming from?

I still am not convinced by his "I'm going to bed let me know when you all stop insulting each other" shtick. Or his response when I called him out on it.

Okay, I must have missed the last part, though.

I think it's funny people calling Ty4on out for defending him an hour before the end. I mean... what else is he gonna do? I mean... if he turns out to be scum, cool, but that line of offense just comes off as weird to me.

I have no idea what I was trying to say there... WTF happened there?

I'm trying to remember and I think the gist of that read was that you were more aggressive here than in NightVale, but also posting posts that were less protown. I guess...
You kinda slipped under my radar there.

Really though there's no reason for you to play any more aggressive as scum so I think I'd move you up to a null.

Not for defending himself, for panicking over it.

I have no idea what to make of Mazre. I don't really seem anything particularly damning or interesting in his posts, the only thing that sticks out to me is that he made a post about having a 1v1 with Ty and that is somehow exactly what's happening.

Sorry, apparently "the day is ending in Mafia" is not a valid excuse for not taking the driver's seat.

Anyway, I'm still more suspicious of Splinter at this point, but I also don't want a tie. I'll try to be around at day end if need be.

That's a little reductive. As I already clarified, I was against the first 5 minute top scum lists which were adding very little of value, not in general, and my post regarding top town lists was simply a suggestion as to how they might help town in the future.

Splinter is weird. On one hand he does some gutsy stuff, but many of his reads feel pointless like #203 (suspiciously being proactive saying he'll be stuck on his phone). He is also quite defensive of Mazre and Karu for having excuses to be inactive.

Corn has thrown a ton of shade against me, but is still without a vote.

Squidy tried to get something towards Mazre. I mean it could be scum trying to look town when I flip town.

Redhood has really stepped out of the ring. Weird given how he stepped into it yesterday. Could be timezone related, but he did briefly pop in and vote for me.

Royal_Flush has made no comment despite being quite suspicious of me yesterday. He's probably just busy and I can't read this one way or the other.

Ouro has been incredibly passive. He made a huge read list, but it almost felt like a necessity.

Droplet has made some good posts, but sadly a bit too few. I have no reason to be suspicious of you, but I hope you will be more active D2

It's not that obvious becomes he comes across as a prick but I kind of understand most of his gambits. He's playing us all, but I think it's to build traps for scum. At least I don't get that weird feeling I had in NV yet...

Fair enough, I was back-skimming pretty quickly as I couldn't recall anything of significance from memory when Flux asked. Your reason for town lists seems more beneficial to scum than town to me though.

I may very well be wrong and Ty could be scum. If I vote for Mazre, it risks a tie. And why would I vote for Mazre if I think Royal is scum? Royal wouldn't bus another scum this early.

And I never said I was interested in Mazre. I said I was willing to give squid's gut a chance. Except circumstances changed.

Yeah, I figure squidy's either got some kind of gambit going here or I really have played an exceptionally poor game (perhaps both!). Main reason I haven't paid his proddings much mind.

I lean scum on him. Nothing in his posts seems to differentiate him from Night Vale where he laid low.

I agree with squidy that he has made very little contribution to this thread so based on that I don't feel bad lynching him.

Can't say I really have a strong preference between the two, but going after Mazre feels a bit like lynching for inactivity, and I don't really want the day to end in a tie.

Well if squid is right and Mazre is scum then (by your logic) that somewhat clears Royal, no?

Second paragraph is fair enough though. I can't remember how much / what you've said about Ty before

Ty is my top suspect so I'm voting him. That doesn't mean I will ignore potential unusual behaviour just because it incidentally aligns with my own vote.
