Guys. It's 60+ degrees in Cleveland right now with thunderstorms. This is almost tornado weather... at the tail end of the year. So much for a white Christmas.

To put it into perspective, last year we were buried in snow by early November.

WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE AREN'T WE?!

I was back in Cleveland over Thanksgiving. The weather was soooo nice.

It's raining here but I do not in anyway shape or form need to wear a jacket. Just a shirt and pajamas. Last year it was fucking freezing. We're fuckkkkkkeeeedddd. ._.}

I was on my balcony outside a few minutes ago in nothing but a t-shirt and boxers. I can't even believe this. I've always wanted to live on the west coast, so I'll take it.

Crazy thunderstorm in here near Atlanta right now. Mid 70's today and tomorrow. Would be perfect if not for the storms.

It's clearly the mandate of heaven telling us that they do not approve of our leaders.

We actually got snow here in Spokane, so that's good and normal at least.

Here in the Portland, Oregon area we went from a massive drought over the spring, summer and fall, to record rainfall in December, including the most rain in one day. Also broke the record highest temp during one of those downpours. Power is still out all over the area from a wind storm yesterday. The combination of the rain saturating the ground plus the winds downed trees all over the area. Power is out all over, and the park across the street had 20+ trees go down.

Crazy year.

"Almost" tornado weather? What a pussy city. Here in Nashville we were told to get in the bunkers tonight.

Tell me about it. Vancouver had not one, but two Weather Wizards attacking this year.

Ha, I'm from Cleveland and was going to post this very thread. Some of the brightest lightening I've seen in awhile.

Yeah, same here in Columbus. I got my coat and hoodie ready just to find out it's in the mid-upper 60s. It's the warmest Christmas week I can remember. Probably means we'll get a march blizzard :-P

Up here in Ohio also, and I just heard the thunder. Was really hoping for snow this Christmas, but I expected too much

Woooo, warmest Cleveland Christmas ever! Went grocery shopping in a t-shirt earlier, was delicious. I know we're going to pay for this with endless lake effect snow at some point, but until then, WOOOOOOOOOOO

is this how winter feels on the westcoast of America? Because while its weird to me I got to admit it is amazing

ITT people forgot that El Niño is going on.

California already felt its effects for a while, we can't eat California Crab this season and Poisonous Snakes are washing up on our beaches :(

Ahh okay didn't know that, thought it was gonna start late Nov-early Dec.

The rain and stuff happening in the West Coast (Northern West Coast) is due to El Nino obliterating the ridge of high pressure that's been parked over the sea for the last two winters, which has been helping drought conditions all along the west coast for the last couple of years.

So the rain isn't el nino rain, but it's raining because of el nino

And for everyone freaking out about the temps tomorrow, monday is going to be back in the high 30's with 5-8 inches of snow in Mass in some places. Having two days of bonkers weather (which is what this Xmas eve is) doesn't mean the rest of the winter is gonna be like this.

Bizarre as fuck here in Colorado too. The mornings we have ice on the windshield and mid afternoon we are running the AC in the car. 20f in the morning and 65f in the afternoon is weird but I remember being a kid and having a bbq for xmas at my grandmas so it does happen every so often.

It's so humid on the east coast it literally feels like summer. Actually liking it tonight, but depressed over the lack of snowiness.

It's gonna be 70 degrees on xmas this year, I live in Connecticut. You have to be delusional super delusional to deny global warming now.
