Most disappointing story of 2015?

I'm still in the process of playing Life is Strange and Undertale (almost finished with both, in the grand scheme of things), so I'll hold off on answering.

Anyone have any good answers

EDIT: In a 2015 video game, of course

As a huge fan of the series it's with a heavy heart when I say MGS V.

There were some good things about it and great themes and concepts. But they just we're not utilised enough - Child soldiers being the case in point.

MGSV. I think the car ride, Chapter 2, and how the open world affected the story structure killed it and made it much less of an MGS game from a story standpoint. Still one of the best playing games of this gen.

Didnt play MGS or Fallout, so I'll go with Life is Strange.

Episode 2 was the highlight for me, and it just floundered into some nonsense after that

Metal Gear Solid V followed by The Order 1886.
Had fun with both though and enjoyed them a lot.

Pretty much. Actually, in my case The Order's crappy story is the biggest disappointment. They managed to get great voice actors, but they couldn't really write dialogue for shit and too much is unresolved or incoherent.

I would have to say Fallout 4, it had some great quests but the overall main quest line wasn't very good, it had a tendency to break and make it even more incoherent because of the nature of the game. I had a weird experience with broken scripting that really ruined any sort of flow to plot.

MGSV has some bad spots as well, I think it's problem lies more in it's structure as an open world Peace Walker than an actual story based MGS game, it had some incredible missions with some really great story bits but it fell flat in a lot of spots.

It's like watching someone trip over their own feet, then jump up and scream "TA DA!"

It was funny the first time, but they kept doing it, and now it's simply annoying.

ok, to be disappointed you need to have expectations but looks like you never had any expectation.so, idk

The thread is about most disappointing story and you respond with "I didn't like the story before so thank God it's barely there this time!"

Your most disappointing video game story of 2015 is for a game you are happy doesn't have a story?

What
