I think it's just down to a complete lack of western media and date. But everything they show for the Japanese release seems to get people excited. People loved the update today that shows the artwork that they're using for skills

No, i mean i'm surprised that it even got that high. I really like what i've seen of the game, but many times it feels like the threads on it are so barren of people interested.

The biggest threads are the ones mocking the character designs as 'too animu' and whatever.

Of course, the sample size is really small compared to the amount of users.

I also feel bad for World of Final Fantasy considering how awesome it looks, but atleast its doing better than the next Tales

Nothing about QB is remotely interesting to me aside from the nice production values. Nothing about it seems overly exciting.

Pretty much how I feel. The graphics and effects look nice at least. I'm really not digging the game tying in with a television show.

how so though? anyone who is a gamer with a professional email can become a gaffer. how would it be that it's mostly sony-centric?

the only thing i'm thinking and I feel like i'd be called a fool for saying this, is that just going by sales, perhaps the majority of the global gaming community is on playstation.

The amount of excitement for Mass Effect is truly puzzling.

1. We've seen nothing on the game.
2. It's being developed by a completely different team, largely staffed by the Army of Two team.
3. Mass Effect 3 was such a colossal goat fuck that you'd think it would've soured people on the franchise.

I guess it's true, stick a known brand name on something and people will go for it no matter what.

1. We saw a trailer that demonstrates what the graphics will be like.
2. I didn't know that, but the game may be the beginning of a new trilogy so who knows what it'll be like with a new team
3. The colossal goat fuck that was Me3 does not undo the beautiful thing that was Me2.

Idk I don't see it ever happening. Halo 5 didn't even make it. (Not that it deserved to, in retrospect) The Wii U has a much stronger following on GAF than the Xbox One, I think.

What about Titanfall? Or are we talking exclusives as in "not on PC"?

Oh I don't think it's a great post by any means. But speculating whether certain games will make it out is a general trend in these threads, so I don't really have a problem with it.

You have to consider the competition. I can't remember everything but I would guess Dark Souls 3 is facing steeper competition.

World Of Final Fantasy (number 68) and Bloodborne got robbed!

Awesome that half of that list is PS4 exclusive. I'll take Quantum Break over Mass Effect any day but other than those games I like the list. Zero Time Dilemma might be a little low for my tastes as well. If it's as good as the first couple games we're in for a treat.

And switch Deus Ex with Nier.
