I broke my pickaxe fighting some creature and now I don't know how to replace it lol. All I know is that I lack two coupons to buy one.

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
Oh God! I don't have time to find a pickaxe! I need to get on the train!
I'll figure out how to find a pickaxe while I'm there.

so, it seems like out town hall has been upgraded several times, but the house limit is still at 10. anyone know if that's a hard cap for the beta, or if it just takes a lot of upgrades. ...I really want my house back. :(

edit: oh, I see. it's at 15. I'm just too slow for this town.

also, a suggestion: maybe notifying the player when their home gets destroyed?

Someone is holding up the union shop line. Just decide already. I wanna get back out there.

btw, you can kick objects with the triangle key, it has a bit of a delay at the moment which is why it isn't heavily advertised... but it is fun :D

Couple of impressions now that the beta is over:

- I think players should be rewarded with XP for whatever resources they harvest that then go on to be stockpiled. Give something to the stockpiler for sure, but the most efficient way to play is definitely having one person mining, another running the materials to the loading area and so on. The problem right now is if you want to be rewarded for your work, you have to walk everything back to town yourself.

- The building puzzles are just meh. I always pay to skip them. It almost defeats the purpose. If Q has time to do so, I would be revisiting those. Right now they're just boring and hold up the poor schmuck who is waiting in line for the workbench while the person at the bench fumbles around trying to solve the puzzle. Just tedious.

- I understand why darkness hurts the player, but do I really have to lose health just for mining in an area with the smallest shadow imaginable being cast over me? I think the darkness health degeneration stuff should be tweaked so that you only get hurt when you're in pitch darkness.

Otherwise, day one purchase.

Totally agree with the first point and it is something that will tune moving forwards after we launch... we want to work with the players to expand the ideas we've presented!

The darkness detection is tuned down a lot depending on the size of the shadow and is something we are constantly tweaking, in the meantime if you have a flashlight, just put it down beside you (switched on). Also, increase your fortitude level in your stats... or eat a glowing mushroom...

The puzzle is intended to take a little time and hold people up a bit. You can bribe it if you are impatient but freeman dollars are quite valuable.

Yesterday I built a house. When I logged in today the town it placed me in must not be the same as yesterday. I have not used any trains. Is it possible that my house disappeared or it just loaded me into a different town?
