Konami introduced an expiration date for MB coins (Japan/Steam only)

"Some users may have received MB coins without knowing about the validity period" doesn't sound like it.

That's why they're so friendly to reset the expiration counter for now.

Still Bullshit. If they didn't got informed of the expiration date, it doesn't matter they now have gotten a more lax one, any expiration date is complete and utter Shit. Konami had to inform people of it before people bought the coins, apparently they didn't. That is Konami their fault, and they can't suddenly still enforce an expiration date,it's disgusting and misleading behavior.

In case it wasn't sure, me calling that friendly was sarcasm.
I fully agree with you.

Why only steam users in japan? Are they testing this with a small playerbase to see how people reacts?
Anyway,MB coins are already useless to me because i don't purchase FOBs anymore and i already bought that bikini for my female character in MGO lol.

Why? I can't come up with a reason. Anyone?
Well :
They are showing their users the beauty and true value of MB coins by making their existence a necessarily finite one. Only when we know that a thing must end, and end soon, do we begin to appreciate the time we have spent with it. This a fundamental part of the human condition, we all have to cherish the time we have left that is running through our hands as inevitable as an hourglass.
Konami knows that only users with Japanese sensibilities can understand this without accusing them of evil and mischief, for the Japanese mind is a far more trusting one, where authority, even as little as Konami stil has, is more easily accepted.

When will the dark, underground version of MGSV be released by the modding community? One that severs all ties to konami and makes the MB stuff make sense for a consumer? I want my launch version of MGSV back.

Insane. Absolutely insanity. Is there any purchases that could take six months to earn? I'm referring to free/earned mb

Soooooooooo happy I finished and uninstalled this game before Konami updated the game with filth.

It's like every time news of this game surfaces, the product continues to look worse and worse.

I wasn't completely serious with my question, but your reply is great XD

Konami really are determined to burn this game to the ground. I feel so bad for anyone who comes to this game down the line and have to contend with their continued fuckery.

Holly .... ! That is the subject of this mysterious 93 MB update. This is nust insane!!!! I may not use all the MB I collect. Hell even the one purchased with rzal money expire. This is a level beyond anything done in swindle.

Why only steam users in japan?
It's been that way for Japanese PlayStation users since the beginning (or at least for a while).
Not sure if that's also how it works for Steam, but on PlayStation (4, in my case), it seems the expiration date is actually six months from the last MB Coins you've received/bought. Meaning simply getting a few of them as a Daily Bonus always pushes the expiration date for all your MB Coins to six months in the future. So it's not that bad (unless I'm mistaken, of course). Still a bit weird that only Japan gets that kind of treatment.

Speaking of Japan getting a weird treatment: for some reason, the preorder bonuses still aren't up for sale on the Japanese PS Store. They've been available for NA players since last November, but if you're playing on a Japanese account? Sucks for you!
Kindly do something about that shit, Konami.

Phone reception is more important to me than human rights
Such a lust for disappointment.

This could have been the best overall MG game in the series....now its nothing but trash.
