This for me, some of the cut scenes from previous FE games (particularly Radiant Dawn) depict battles as swirling melee with heroes cutting through weaker troops, plus the common FE objectives to seize areas or defeat commanders fits perfectly. Fire Emblem/Dynasty Warriors could work really well.
I'd like to see them work the cavalry units and fliers in though, that might be tough. Thinking about it, you could use a touch screen to deploy a limited number of 'special' units to fill objectives, sending a pegasus knight to seize a distant target, or summoning heavy foot knights to hold a choke point. So many possibilities for both the action and strategic sides of it.

Not their own IP, but I just want Nintendo to work very extensively with Sonic permanently.
1. Have Nintendo fully collaborate with Sonic Team on AAA entries on the level of Sonic Generations, never let Sega work on their own again which led to Sonic Lost World and especially Sonic Boom (not Sonic Team but you get the idea).
2. In addition, have EPD Tokyo lead the development of their own 3D Sonic game, particularly an open world game ala Sunshine but the "epicness" of Galaxy, so to speak.
3. Also attempt at gathering and funding his creators (Hirokazu Yasuhara who's at NST, Naoto Ohshima who's at Arzest, and Yuji Naka who's at Prope) to collab on their own Sonic game.
Do that and I'd be content.

Nintendo vs. Capcom? Nintendo vs. SEGA vs. Capcom. Get some of that sweet console war nostalgia bait up in there.
Project X Zone 3 with Nintendo as a full participant and bringing in a bunch of obscure Nintendo franchises like Famicom Detective Club to interact with Phoenix Wright and stuff.
SEGA co-produced F-Zero needs to happen again.
Fire Emblem makes perfect sense for a musou or standalone fighter at this point. A fighter would probably automatically be handled better than the Shining Force fighter which didn't even have characters from the original games.
Phantasy Star Online 2 on Nintendo NX, change all the Sony cross promotions to Nintendo ones.
Mostly because either SEGA vs Capcom or Nintendo vs Capcom would be awesome, so why not both.

You play as Bowser and have a party consisting of 108 classic Mario enemies, including the Koopalings, and go through randomized dungeons. You can take your entire party with you into each Dungeon, Bowser + all 108 as you collect them over the game, but there's a major twist---Bowser is basically the most powerful party member, and the one who determines a Game Over, with the other party members very limited with one or two moves and paltry HP. Basically each Dungeon requires you to smartly conserve your best party members for the major fights and carefully pick and choose when to use each member. Kind of SMT inspired I'm thinking, but with a visual flair bringing to mind Persona Q.

P* character action game about a mid-20's Ganondorf fighting in the Hylian civil war.

After Street Fighter V lower sales I see this selling more than a multiplatform Captain Vs.
They could also straight up just reuse the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 engine and characters. Just substitute Marvel with Nintendo.

Get Arc sys to work on a fire emblem fighting game, there is so much they can do with that and I'd buy it on day 1.
I want Reggie to don a firefighter outfit and storm the burning HQ of Konami, and come out clutching Goemon, Bomberman, Simon Belmont, Pyramid Head, Snake, and the cast of Contra in his big beefy arms.

I also think it'd be cool if Playtonic was given the DKC franchise after Retro. I wonder if the guys at Playtonic still have it in them to make a great DKC game just like in the 90s?
