What Nintendo Collaberation Do You Want Next?

I want Monolith Soft to work on a Zelda title.

Like, Takahashi Monolith. Not Project X Zone Monolith.

Then you probably should play Skyward Sword, because they worked on that. And there's a good chance they're doing work on the new Zelda as well.

Project X Zone was developed in the same branch Takahashi is based (Monolith Tokyo), which worked on Skyward Sword. A Link Between Worlds, etc., were contributed to by the Kyoto branch, but that's still under Takahashi's purview as studio head, as far as I'm aware.

Fire Emblem Warriors.

Nintendo Slice of Life by Kyoto animation or Smash bros the anime by Madhouse

Take your pick.

Kyoani is pretty self-contained especially after strong success with all those light novel adaptations. They would be pretty good but unlikely to happen.
Madhouse is a bit meh for action since MAPPA formed unless they outsource to good animators like in the case of OPM. I prefer Bones (Noragami, Space Dandy, Blood Blockade Battlefront).
There's also studios like Shaft (did a Kid Icarus short and Palutena trailer as well as Madoka and the Monogatari series), Ufotable (most known recently for Fate/Stay Night UBW), Trigger (made of people who worked on Gurren Lagann, did Kill la Kill).

I would like to see a Splatoon anime by diomedia but only because it'd be funny since they also did Squid Girl.

Platinum Games on a Captain Falcon game
This is a dream of mine.
Platinum stylish action Sheik game
This is also a dream of mine, even though I forgot about it.

Those and a Metroid Warriors game. I think there are enough characters for it to be feasible at this point.
If we aren't talking video games...then some anime, Nintendo. Preferably Smash, but I'll probably take what I can get.

Wario Rpg made by Camelot, with Ashley, Jimmy T, Kat/Ana, and 9 Volt/18 Volt as playable party members. Maybe Mike the robot as a hidden character.

Nintendo vs Capcom will be a real thing on NX watch.

Ryu is in smash.

Nintendo support and growth in the FGC.

Street Fighter V is exclusive.

Only a matter of time..!

This is all out of context. Monolith Soft art staff assisted in some animation and visual assets. They didn't program or design any actual game elements.

A donkey kong based gears of war character shooter with dynamic arenas (moving platforms, shaky surfaces random storms ect) that give every combat encounter the feel of a 3D platformer ( Kongs of War? )

A xenoblade chronicles X, MOBA where you get to fight in your custom Mechs

Insert obligatory Pokemon RPG.

An Open world GTA style Mario Game. It includes platforming, kart racing ect. Mario and Luigi plus a few friends live in a firehouse Ghost Busters style.

A survival horror metroid game. Collaboration partner the guys that made Until Dawn.
After chasing a wanted fugitive to a large unknown fully destructible vessel samus Arran must capture them without dying. Simple right. However the ship would be huge with 8 unique sections and random chance would determine where the prisoner started. If he started in the life support room you would have to complete your mission on one tank of air. Or walk into a trap to turn the system back on ect

Zelda meets minecraft

Monster Hunter x Pokèmon

But not like Stories. I want terrifying renditions of the designs we love that I can carve and make armor from.

So 100% Nintendo?
What I mean is they are a company with different staff.

Monolith's really great at open world games, that's why I wanted them on the next Zelda.

I always assumed that Takahashi was busy working on an Xenoblade at the same time his team helped on a Zelda.

1. Mario and Sonic adventure game. If Nintendo and Sega can work on this game and make it a reality, I'll be the first to buy it.

2. Long ago, I've liked the idea of Star Fox and Star Wars in a cross over game. I've always imagined Darth Vader and the Empire trying to take over the Star Fox universe in an intense battle. In space, anything is possible.

3. For the same reason, I also thought about Star Wars and Metroid in a cross over game too.

4. The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy. I thought about this years ago. I always wanted to this to work somehow, a crossover of Final Fantasy into the Legend of Zelda.

5. Bring Link back into the next Soul Calibur series. Link appeared in Soul Calibur 2 on the Nintendo Gamecube years ago and I enjoyed playing as Link. You can even put Marth, Roy from Fire Emblem too.

6. Fire Emblem Warriors.

That's all I can think of for the moment. I haven't thought about Kirby or Donkey Kong yet. It's a pretty wild list. Lol.

I´d love a Souls game. Even if From´s and Nintendo´s style seems so different, I think this collaboration could be epic:
  • Under all the coating, Souls level design is really similar to NES-era games.
  • From´s games usually lack a lot of polish, Nintendo excels at this.
  • Souls games don´t make a good work of explaining game systems & mechanics, Nintendo are masters at this even without using tutorials.
  • Add Monolithsoft to the mix to get the best game world ever.
  • Even with all the lore, settings and such, what has made the Souls games so incredible to play is that they are founded on awesome gameplay and level design. Nintendo prioritizes this over everything else, so they would be talking a common language.
  • Both are strongly japanese, so they share a lot of creative sensibilities.
  • Both know how to tell epic stories with minimal cutscenes and text (Zelda but specially Metroid do this really well).
For clarification I wouldn´t want this to be a Zelda game, though a From collaboration in a Zelda game (specially for combat mechanics) would be awesome too.

Pokémon x Monster Hunter. Hunt frenzied Charizards and apex Golems.

Zelda x Monster Hunter. Hunt bosses from the Zelda games. Gohma and Nerscylla in the same hunt?? 😲

Xenoblade x Monster Hunter. Hunt monsters in an oversized open world game. Feel the rush as 10 lv86 Rathalos gain up on you.

A Mario and Sonic racing game made by Sumo Digital.

This. Fucking this. Except I'd prefer it to be a collaboration between Sumo Digital and Nintendo. Let Sumo handle the vehicle mechanics and track design, but let Nintendo handle the items balancing and QA. The items in the All-Stars Racing games are a bit lacklustre, and sometimes the physics/hit detection were a bit off.

Everyone who didn't say "Nintendo vs. Capcom" done CVS2 style is TOTALLY AND UTTERLY WRONG!
Fire Emblem Musou is acceptable too
Also maybe Mysterious Murasame Castle developed by P*

Sega and F-Zero (again). While we're at it, let P* make a character action game starring Captain Falcon.

Otherwise...somebody needs to give Fire Emblem a proper weapons-based fighting game. I'd be fine with Arc Systems, Bamco or SNKP doing the honors. ASW probably would be the main ones available, considering it might be a while until the next Persona fighter, and Bamco will likely be still working on Pokken games, if we're lucky.

I want this so much.

I love these types of games and I loved F-Zero GX. Fast Racing Neo is okay, I guess, but it's not the same. I'm still playing Wipeout Fury/HD, but I'd pay anything for a new F-Zero.

A new Jump ____stars game. With Nintendo characters chucked in for the hell of it.

A Metroid game by Platinum.

A Persona game crossed with Pokemon. Like that Conquest game but full jRPG.

A Mario and Sonic racing game made by Sumo Digital.

Oh shit yes. This times a million.
