I've not seen an ad on youtube yet, website traffic seems very low and it's a new ip but if there's lots of ads on the telly (don't watch it myself) and people dig the quantum TV style which is quite familiar if you like watching television then I can see it doing a bit more 48-60k

I wonder what sort of numbers QB needs to sell to recoup its budget. I mean, it has probably been in development for at least 4 years, they've got a few actors in both the game and the TV show which can't have been cheap to produce, and I imagine the marketing will be a big blowout. I know Remedy is not a huge studio, but I can see this one costing MS $50-60 million. Surely they've got to clear a couple of million units to break even?

Microsoft is crowned No1 for the first time in 2016 with ‘Quantum Break’ sealing top spot.

The Xbox One exclusive is the publisher’s first chart topping title since Halo 5: Guardians landed in November last year. It’s an extremely tight battle for the crown as racing in just behind is Codemasters’ ‘Dirt Rally’ on Xbox One, PS4 & PC. It’s an impressive debut for the title beating launch week sales of 2012’s ‘Dirt Showdown’ by an impressive 197%. It sits in good company in Codemasters’ popular Dirt series in 3rd place behind ‘Colin McRae: Dirt 2’ and ‘Dirt 3’ for opening week sales. Ubisoft’s four week run at the top is ended with ‘Tom Clancy’s: The Division’ (-41%) dropping down to No3.
