Holy crap, this is finally out? It's been years since I've first seen it. Hope the devs can recoup their investment. Insta-bought.

I've been following this game for years and years now, waiting, checking every month for it to come out. ITS FINALLY HERE! I've been trying to sell EVERYONE I know on this game. Gotta get me some of that advance wars gameplay. From what I've played so far, I'm very impressed with pretty much everything about it.

I'll probably jump on an Android version. As far as mobile gaming goes, this seems like the perfect thing if it can live up to it's inspiration (AW).

been waiting ages for this - will cop and buy 2 copies for my bros so we can get some multiplayer in

Pretty great so far. Immediately wished there was an option to speed up animations though, I always turn them off or as low as possible in FE and AW games. Definitely has the feel of AW, I wonder how complex it'll get in later levels.

Yeah that's my only gripe so far. Wish I could just touch the screen during the enemies turn to fast forward what's happening.

Got dayum this looks good I wonder if it'll just be another mobile game I never play though.... For 3 dollars..... Tempting any impressions?

Played this during the beta. It's a great version of Advance Wars. It's a shameless clone, but it's funny, polished, and well tuned. I didn't love the art style but it's grown on me. I liked it enough to buy it.

It's literally Advance Wars though. Don't expect innovation here. Just a lot of polish.

Ugh, that sucks, I'm down for a shameless clone. I'll have to pick this up when it comes to android. Can't play something like this on my phone.

The visualization of movement range after you highlight a unit is uncharacteristically ugly. All those dots. Why not just handle it like Intelligent Systems did?

Aside from that, the game is really polished. Snappy UI animations, nice sound effects, etc.
Is there IAP in this?

Pretty sure it's IAP-free.

Just fired it up on my iPad Air. It's a damn nice sight on a bigger screen, though I think I prefer the iPhone 6s. The smaller screen reminds me of Dual Strike or Days of Ruin, and it's not a flashy game like Xcom. (There's no unit attack animations. But who left those on in AW anyway? :p)

The iCloud saves are amazing though. I picked up where I left off in the campaign and that save file was from the beta. Incredible.

Real glad there are good mobile games like this. It's the full package.

Played the first couple of levels and man, the graphical design is so good, what a slick interface. The gameplay seems pretty fun too. I think I'm really going to love this game.

I always was interested in playing AW as a kid (it always looked so neat in Nintendo Power!) but never did, so I'm going this scratches that itch a little. It's been really neat so far!

Nice feature is, you can exit the game at any time, and once you return you'll be right where you left off.

You can also zoom in and out of the map.

I beta tested this over the past month or so and it's a fantastic game. I'm surprised they priced it so low.

I'll buy it again on each and every platform they choose to release on

I played this during the beta test and loved it. I'm a big Advance Wars fan but a casual one, I didn't do any theorycrafting (is that just a WoW term? Whatever) on it so I don't know how this stacks up from a balance thing but it's cheap, cute, funny, smooth to play and scratches that Advance Wars itch like nothing else. And no IAP. Just amazing.

Of course due to all that it will bomb horribly. Hopefully I'm proven wrong on that :(

Been playing for a while and love it. It's a speedier Advance Wars and apart from one minor change or two (which helps spice and speed up gameplay) it's identical. Great visual style and great music, too. So far the only "bad" aspect is that the dialogue seems a bit uneven in quirkiness (and sometimes resorts to smileys which is odd). The map design is pretty nice so far in the campaign which surprises me. Just started trying out multiplayer and the versus maps, so I'll have to wait and judge those... even if they look good from what I can tell.

Ahh, I've always wanted a new Advance Wars and this game sure hits the spot for me. We should create a GAF tag.
