Same day as FFXV.
Yo-Kai Bomba 2 confirmed.
Same day as FFXV.
It doesn't feel like it's been very long since the last one was released. Good luck to 'em, though.
I haven't even played the first one yet (other than the demo) since it just came out in Europe. Is this one of those franchises where it's recommended to play all the games? Or is it okay to skip the first?

Wow. Sent off to be destroyed.

WelpSame day as FFXV.
Because of FFXV??
I understand that there are enthusiasts here that are interested in both games and don't want to buy both as they come out close to each other - the majority of each game's target group shouldn't really overlap though. It's a kid's game after all.
Edit: Yeah this, see the posters below me.
And back on topic: Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls seem horrible names for a kid's game.

Same day as FFXV? Guess America won't be getting the 3rd Yokai Watch.
Inazuma Eleven 2 & 3 when? Please...?
I'm surprised it isn't earlier. You'd think Level 5 would want as much breathing room as possible from Pokémon SM.Wow, I called October because it was an empty month. I will take it a week early!
why release all 3 versions at once when u can release 2 of then and then the definitive version later for more money
The other two being Monster Rancher and Fossil Fighter.
Aw ye we in this
I'm pretty sure he means Yo-Kai Watch 3: Sushi & Tempura, which is coming out in July in Japan.
But again, Final Fantasy XV is an entirely different market.
Does the second one make improvements on the first one? I liked a lot of stuff about the first one but I thought it was paced pretty poorly and didn't provide you with enough variety of Yo-kai in the main story line. Plus some Yo-Kai were just reskinned versions of other Yo-Kai.
Agreed, both demos have not sold me on FFXV. Too sci-fi and the combat is way too automated even compared to YW1.YW2 over FFXV any day.
That is great to hear, navigation was my main issue with the first game because it was a pain until you got mirrors. As for improvements ive noticed in 2...
-Better navigation
-The ability to travel to different city via the train
There actually is a third version of 2 (which came out after the original two versions) which we don't seem to be getting. Apparently you can import save data into it to skip playing the story again, though, so if it does come out here eventually there's that at least.
level 5 already made a ton of money from this in japan as between all 3 versions of yo-kai watch 2 its well over 5 million in copies sold lol.
Really crazy to release 2 versions when the first one bombed
How much did the first game sell and what did Nintendo/Level 5 expect for the first game in a new IP?Really crazy to release 2 versions when the first game bombed
I know right? We got nothing in 2014 then all the sudden we getting all of them this year.Who is supposed to play all these 3DS JRPGs? Getting too much... still cool that they announced the second game already.
You can definitely tell it was made in 2013. It has not aged that well. People like 2 better so I am excited.Awesome yokai watch 1 felt like a proof of concept game and everything I've heard about the sequel states it's a lot better
If it bombs it won't be due to FFXV anyway. That's not the JRPG Hino has to worry about.Obviously. But if it bombs in NA, it bombs in NA.
