I mean, I expected the cartoon to be dumb and not for actual fans of Mega Man but I don't know why, I expected it to look like classic Mega Man and not be horrible CGI. I don't know why though.
He just looks ugly, and I'm not sure if it's the design or the cheap CGI?
Just out of curiosity, what is the purpose of a new Mega Man cartoon anyway? Does Capcom actually plan on any new games to capitalize on the cartoon?

I'd like to see what the key demographic has to say about the cartoon. Can all members age 6 - 9 voice their outrage next?

Kids deserve better.
Why does the art style look like it's for toddlers
Well because it's a show for kids

Sonic Boom already got two games and look how THAT turned out. And that's despite the cartoon actually being decent. This just makes Sonic Boom's initial announcement look incredible, the art is horrendously amateurish for a so-called professional studio.
And that's strange logic. Capcom doesn't need to be making new classic Mega Man games to commission an adaptation of the comics. If anything, a successful adaptation might spur new classic games, much like what you're suggesting for this.
If this actually had decent production values and actually looked new and interesting, I would give it a chance, but both the setup is a cliche storm and the art is a dumpster fire.
Art style can look really nice and still be aimed at young kids though...
Also I can make everything worse about the 90's Mega Man cartoon. This was the original promo for the show and planned to be closer to the source material but in the style of Mega Man: Upon A Star.
