They just gotta make it happen... they hit it out of the park at e3 last year with Shenmue 3, FF7:Remake, and The Last Guardian.... if they bring crash back this year... they will win e3 two times in a row.

Good initiative, actually tempted to go for the ps4 version after three or four wiiu ones. Hopefully this will be a promotional support to an actual game.

Doesn't discount the possibility of there being a proper Crash Bandicoot platformer in the works. In fact it lends further credence to it happening, with this Skylanders thingy acting as a tie-in to the full-fledged platforming game.

What I'm wondering though is what the situation is with IP ownership. I guess Crash isn't switching hands after all if he's going to be in Skylanders.

I assume you never played any of the Crash games on the PS2? His legacy of greatness was with ND and the PS1. No reason to further tarnish it with a full-fledged game on the PS4 that will never live up to fan expectations and won't be made by ND.

People love Skylanders. Do you know how many parents play with their children and bond over the joys of whatever this game has to offer?

No seriously, I really don't know. Do you fight each other or something, smash bros style?

From a personal experience, it's the first game I played with my son. The games are really well made diablo-lite style experiences (more akin to Lego games), extremely polished and perfectly suited for Crash to make an appearance and introduce him to a new generation.

No idea why GAF is losing it's s**t over this. Expect them all queuing up to buy the figure when it's released solo.

Honestly, the fact that this would be a PS4 exclusive and he'd be considered a guest character kind of makes me believe there's a fair chance this could tie in to a bigger Crash reveal thing Sony has planned.
