Crazy. I believe Smash 4 and Melee both have over 2,000. Pokken has over 1,000.
Where's the obvious joke?

Well wishing the SF5000 the best of luck!
That's pretty great to hear.
Ki not sf5 deserves that amount.
KI can get many more once they fix the stilted ragdoll animations. How did KI get out-animated by a lower budget titleKi not sf5 deserves that amount.
That EVO will be a train wreck. They don't have nearly enough volunteers/judges for any of the games.Where's the obvious joke?
If Killer Instinct deserved it then more people would of signed up.

Guess everyone who bought the game entered.
got that out of the way.
They changed to a larger venue this year, but I'm not sure how much that's going to help. MrWizard really is going to have turn this into a four-day event one year.
That's not the issue, they literally dont have the manpower to organize for 11,000 entrants. They changed to a larger venue this year, but I'm not sure how much that's going to help. MrWizard really is going to have turn this into a four-day event one year.
Don't forget Zika.
Amazing. Now bigger question is can a washed up veteran like daigo get atleast 2500th spot out of 5000?

Are you telling me that Killer Instinct is not the People champ? Then why did somebody make a thread claiming it is?popularity does not correlate with quality
Outside of content SFV plays very well which is the most important thing when it comes to these events so whats your point?
?????????????????????
That seems like a hell of alot. I should watch one of these finally. What's the highest number of entries they've had
I think around 2000 for usfiv last year. That seems like a hell of alot. I should watch one of these finally. What's the highest number of entries they've had
A larger venue isn't going to help when you have that many people in that many Tournaments. 10,000 people across 4 Tournaments alone is insane.
Considering they're running SF5 pools constantly and Sunday is Top 64/128 down to Top 8 for SF5...it's gonna be a mess.
Damn this looks like a massive jump for SF alone I can only imagine how it is for the other titles. Welp I'm watching should be fun. This tournament is by far the biggest they had. Last year's was huge, with over 2200 USF4 entries, and almost 2000 for each smash game, plus all the other games featured, (of course, overlap between games does exist to some extent), but this is way bigger
Well that's idiotic. Sunday will have to be nonstop SFV from the early morning if they pretend to end this shit before midnight.
