Coke from a can is best soda

I go out of my way for cans of soda. Something about plastic just tastes weaker. I wanna be hit with that carbonation blast.

But the perfect hit of soda has come from a fountain. It just sucks that it varies wildly.

Ice cold (and by that I MEAN ice cold, not fucking fridge warm) Coke Zero is the best. Fresh bottle. Goodness. I live for that shit. Drink at least bottle daily.

I live in the US and the only type of Coke I drink is Mexican Coke in a glass bottle.

Literally can't even drink the regular US Coca-Cola with corn syrup anymore.

I miss buying soda in glass bottles so much. Drinks used to be heavily carbonated back then. Now everything seems flat by comparison. I miss buying Hi-C and Hawaiian Punch in cans too. Now you really don't need the pointy thing on the other side of the bottle opener (unless you drink tomato juice). God I'm old.

Glass coke gets even better if it's made with cane sugar.
I mean, screw corn sugar, it's awful...

My man!! My buddy served me a glass bottle mountain dew before at his house. It was like drinking nectar from the gods. Soda made with sugar cane, not that artificial crap, tastes so much better. Totally worth the extra cost. Aluminum can and plastic bottles can take a hike after you've had the pleasure of drinking a real soda.

Personally I like Coke in a glass bottle the best, but it's not like I get to drink that as often. Can with a straw might be second for me though with plastic bottle third and fountain fourth.

REAL Mexican bottled Coke comes straight from God's lips.

TC has obviously never had it.

You know that "Mexican coke" is a complete myth and placebo right?

I love whenever people bring up Mexican coke like they're some sort of soda connoisseur

So you've not had Irn Bru then? From a can, or a glass bottle (tastes fine out a plastic bottle to be honest, but if we're being snobby about it then can or glass!).

In the UK I used to buy these:

It definitely tastes better from a glass bottle. It tastes the worst to me from a plastic bottle.

The best Coca-Cola I've tasted is from McDonald's, and from fountains in various different places.

Coke from a glass bottle bought in Venezuela in 1998 from one of the cooled drink carts they had all over the place is the best soda I've ever had.

Not a pop drinker myself, but an ice-cold can of Coca Cola is fucking amazing once in a while.

I agree 100%. The first slug off a can while eating a sandwich, or almost anything really, has an almost narcotic effect on me. Whatever garbage they're stuffing in there works, cuz even though I know it's awful for me and I shouldn't pay for it, I keep coming back.

The fountain coke experience is the supperior coke experience. On a hot day, putting ice in a coke, and it being so cold it almost burns your mouth is just euphoric.

#Teamglass - I'm not hipster about it, I genuinely enjoy the slight mineral taste of the glass with the coke. It's very distinct.

If you like metal, go nuts. #Teamfountain seems like a syrup calibration dice roll. That shit ain't consistent.

A Jimmy John's by my house has the best fountain Coke. Everywhere else I go it's terrible. Don't even get me started on Pepsi only establishments.

You ever been in a Restaurant and they apologize and say, "is Pepsi ok?" you probably have.

But you know why the reverse never happens?

Because only goddamn fuckin' weirdos order Pepsi.
