Hold up, we DO get to control the car ourselves? I don't know where i read it but it sounded like the car would drive by itself. Which of course would be a huge disappointment for such a big game world.

I don't suppose there's any chat or anything where XV GAF is hanging out? I remember the GAF Twitch chat being a scream around E3.
The Japanese Prompto is even worse with his annoying Anime overacting. Would be funny if his Japanese VA also does the German Prompto, as he's German-born and speaks both languages fluently (though now that I'm seeing this again he definitely has a slight but noticeable accent when speaking German).
I don't have any high expectations for the English VA anymore, but I hope it's at least average. They couldn't possibly mess up something important like this in a RPG for their biggest and most West-dependent FF yet too much, right? Someone has to realize how stilted and unnatural the game's English VA sounded so far, right? Riiight?
I will try out the German VA a bit out of curiosity, too. Let's see if game dubs here have improved a bit. The little I heard from TW3's German dub was decent enough surprisingly.

The Witcher 3's German dub is actually really good, with one exeption: Ciri. One of the worst performances I've heard in a long time. God does she sound unnatural and stilted. No idea how they could let that happen.
For FFXV the bit from Regis in the Reclaim your Throne trailer was pretty good, so I have a bit of hope. We'll probably hear it during gamescom.
Somehow I like the idea of Promptos Japanese VA doing the German dub, but there's no chance of that happening.
You're a good candidate for Cor.
I don't think there's any cynical anti-hero's for Dark_castle and myself to lay claim to.

Grumpiest should be Verstael. The consistent hater(wanting FFXV to fail) should be Iedolas. The eternal troll should be Ardyn. The forsaken fan who was hurt most by the shift from Versus to FFXV should be Ravus.

Good call. I have some ideas for each of these, but, truth be told, I don't want to be mean. I've got nothing but love for the whole XV crew -- even the die hard haters are at least engaging with this crazy, 10-year-in the making interactive video entertainment event/Rube Goldberg machine/roller coaster/social experiment, and they've been an important part of the journey too.
