Nice to have the option for those who want it, but folders are a clunky solution to the organization problem IMO. I mean does anyone actually use folders much for applications on their smartphone (or even PC) these days as opposed to search? Smart options for pinning favorites as well as flexible searching, sorting and filtering options in the library all mapped to quick, easy controller actions would be much nicer IMO. A dedicated library button on the controller instead of scrolling to the end of the title list would be great too. I hope at least this means we can dismantle the "built-in" media folder that has every single video app ever in it, even ones I never plan to install.

Super pleased that "purchased" and "installed" are being separated. Hopefully purchases can also be hidden.

Still waiting for external HD support (I don't think it's actually coming, maybe for Neo in future) and that much needed cloud save overhaul (with support for cloud screen captures).

There's been lots of styling tweaks but the biggest practical change is the increase in content icons from 7 and two halves to 8 and two halves, smaller icons and mostly higher contrast graphics on them.

The number/circle online indicators on the top row don't downscale very well with the current PDM, so hopefully that's improved.

SIE probably want the PS+ icon to stand out yellow, but they should at least un-yellow and simplify the trophy-level icon. I'm not sure it's needed at all.

If people are confused by this - it's because they have TV's that are overscanning. So they'll see 7 and two fourths to 8 and two fourths. Or even worse, if their TV is overscanning by 10 percent they'll just see a jump from 7 to 8. The portions on the sides are being zoomed in over.

Since you can just replace the internal hard drive I don't think external hard drive support is really needed, in my opinion at least.

5 minutes to replace an HDD, then a whole afternoon to backup-restore its contents at the least. Or days re-downloading everything.

While I don't mind not using external HDDs for aesthetic reasons, it's much more practical to just plug a new drive and instantly use it. Having options is a good thing.

Xbox One should let us replace its internal HDD too.

Also, with the Nyko Data Bank, you can go up to 4TB. PS4 has the support for that size (I think it's the current maximum). I'd consider one, but I'm not sure about how reliable it is. It also makes the PS4 look strange.

Holy shit, thank the gods! This has been pissing me off for the longest time. The worst was that even at 10 seconds, PS4 would detect it's 00:01 over, forcing you to shorten it to 9 seconds.
