Fantastic and all but...
If we wanted a remaster of ACI, where do they pack it? There's no other Crusade AC, and the only other game where Altaïr appears is on Revelation, which comes included with the Ezio games. I'm afraid the only way to get a remaster ACI is digitally? :/

As much as I love AC1, it's already on Backwards Compatibility (on the One at least), and seeing that it's likely the least popular entry, anything more than what we have would probably be a waste of resources unless it's a full on remake.

The best AC storyline (followed by Rogue). I know it's probably just simple port, but I'm really hoping for some slightly updated animations, textures and general cleaning up of janky controls. Ubi please.

No one would buy the I, III, and Rogue collection though. The Ezio games are the only ones that a significant group is interested in rebuying. I hear good things about Rogue, but hardly anyone played that and I doubt that alone will convince people to pick up the pack.

I'm not surprised less people picked up Rogue, it was really dying for a PS4/X1 port and I think a lot of people were expecting one. I wouldn't be surprised if Unity getting dragged through the mud probably scared them off it for whatever reason, should have come out when they released the PC version.

It's the only proper AC game I haven't played, so I would have definitely picked it up.

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
The real question is if those are just PC port.
Seems likely as I highly doubt they would enhance 3 large games

Rogue is great - definitely worth your time.

I liked Ezio's games for the solid story arc. But Black Flag was GOAT gameplay.

Rogue does everything Black Flag does well better. And it significantly improves upon the story and missions. It's a pity that Rogue was relegated to the last gen consoles and the spotlight was directed to Unity.

Lol I never got past the tutorial. Switched it off, never came back.

Da Vinci's mandatory machine missions in Brotherhood are way worse than the optional TD mini-games in Revelations. The tutorial is the only mandatory tower defense element in the entire game. You never have to touch it again unless you want to (by maxing out notoriety and then choosing TD instead of just reconquering the district or leaving it in templar hands).

It would be nice if renovating buildings didn't raise your notoriety in both Brotherhood and Revelations, though. Maybe in this version?

Like many of us here, I own the PC games. Even an old computer can get them to 1080p/60fps. And I have AC2 on Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility.

But I loved these games. If Ubisoft put real effort into them, I would buy them again. If we just get quick PC ports, I think I would still eventually buy again - but at a much discounted price many months after launch.

Will probably play this. Ezio trilogy is the real AC story, and Revelations wasn't even that bad.

Revelations wasnt that bad indeed. But it came after Brotherhood and that one was just crazy good. That it made Revelations look extra bad. Still Revelations was fun to play and i liked to play it to finish Ezio his story.

If Ezio's Trilogy is the "real AC Story" then it's the exact reason why it all takes a giant shit in both historical and modern day plots. And I say this as someone who loves Revelations.

ROGUE is a decent game, but its clearly a game thrown together using Black Flags assets and engine. It very much has a cheap look and feel to it. The map locations are very bland.

Still, it was a fun game that I am glad I got to play and experience.

It also has one of the best stories in the entire AC franchise.
AC: Rogue is like the Arkham Origins of the AssCreed franchise. Arguably the better story but often ignored because it's too similar to a previous game and came out during the current-gen/previous-gen switch.

I always felt Ezio was the least interesting character in the series, well after playing 2 and Brotherhood that is. I'm one of the few who loved Altair and Conor. Is it true they fucked up Altairs character in Revelations ? I never got round to playing that one.

I'll wait for a sale if they end up pricing this as a new game ($79.99 CAD).

But on that note, the Ezio trilogy are some of my favourite games. I feel like it could be daunting going through it all again, but still could be fun.

No, they fleshed him out more in AC:Rev if anything.

Americas Collection is my dream. Cleaned up 3 with DLC, 4 integrated with DLC, and a 1080p port of Rogue. Throw Liberation in there as well.

Rogue is so, so good. What I wouldn't give for it to come to a newer console.

The 3 best games in the series. Would buy it for 40$ max if they include all the DLC and multiplayer. Brotherhood is incredible. Best AC game by far and an amazing world.

I'm convinced the people who love Ezio are the same type of people who support Trump (the ones who believe he'll be great because he has 'strength' and 'passion'). They're both brash, arrogant, ignorant assholes who appeal to really only the basest of demographics. Ezio finally starts learning from his mistakes and becoming a better person in Revelations, which is the same game these people seem to dislike. TO BE CLEAR: I'm not talking about the racism and disturbing policies, purely the way they both act and speak. Their personas. Hell, you've all heard of those people who like the way he 'says what he thinks' and whatnot.

Sorry folks, Altair is the probably the only actual person in the series. Feels like an actual human being compared to simply a character (or caricature in Ezio's case).

Yeah, I just wanted to make Florence great again and build a wall around Italy.

Christ.

Ezio literally built a wall around Monteriggioni. :p

Something about in your face characters who never really think about what they're doing always seems to bug me. Jacob and Edward have the exact same problems. Those same personality types in real life just seem like fake people to me. Characters. An act.

Have them all on PC already. But if it's on 60fps for the console players, it's worth it. Ezio was the coolest character of all (in my opinion).

They retconned him by making him more interesting in Revelations.

Ezio has the one thing Trump doesn't and never will have that matters:

A sexy italian accent

What the fuck is this post?

Peoples liking of a fictional character reflects their political beliefs? Fucking what?

I'm certain this is GAF copypasta. Someone care to confirm?

My issue with these collection is that they can become pretty boring. You get 3 games with the same gameplay, shit gets boring after starting the second game. Spreading it out could be a solution though.

I'm not gonna buy them because I already played them. AC2 and Broterhood are the best AC games so it's cool they get to be on current gen.
