Deus Ex: Mankind Divided |OT| We Asked For This

Wow, I had no idea that preloading on Steam was such a shitshow. What the hell is the point of a system like this?

When publishers don't control 100% of the platform like on PS4 and Xbox One, the only way preloading can work is by having everything encrypted. Which means time spent decrypting once the game is properly released.

Hmm, its difficult to tell whats best, right now its says 30mins to unpack but it keeps spiking to 4 hours, then back to 30mins

if you have it unpacking already i would just leave it for now

make sure nothing else is running in the background that's using the same drive

Ahhhh I was waiting so much to play it already. The download finished.
But the fricking UNPACKING is taking more time than the download, and I can't see the end in sight. Guess I'll only play tomorrow after all :(((((

Even at 0% mouse sensitivity, it's insanely sensitive. Looks like vertical sens is much lower than horizontal too which I hate.

Lame. Hope I can get used to this, otherwise I guess I'll try a gamepad.

They are supposed to unlock today BUT it seems all items are one-use items only valid for a single playthrough. This might be a bug, but I'd hold off using any items unless you need them.

Thanks for the info. I'll save them and use them when I really need too. From what I've read you don't get as many praxis points like you did in HR so It would be nice to have some extras jic.

I'm in a district near the Palisade bank and there's a
cafe nearby and I feel the rumble of a heart beat getting faster and faster on my controller. What's going on? Is this quest related?

Can anyone with as little spoilers as possible answer my question that may contain first level spoilers?
During the sequence when you are supposed to get to the helicopter did I screw up by just killing guards until the helicopter left? Worth reloading for any reason?

You can disable the helicopter so it doesn't take off.

Caved and bought earlier than planned. Installing now but not touching it til the weekend. It's one of those games that deserves undivided attention.

Can you adjust the axis seperately?

If there's an option, I can't find it. Hilariously enough, they do have invert mouse x and y axis settings, something I honestly can't remember seeing very often.

I guess with a normal shooter this'd be fine(-ish) but come on, it's an RPG, I'm obviously going to be looking at the ground for items like every 5 seconds. Just give me separate x and y axis sensitivity settings.

This is all sorts of fucked.

But now that they have all the teams ready, it will hopefully be playable today?

My Xbox has the Game + Desperate Measures downloading, but no Covert Agent.

This is what Xbox.com says I own:

I am assuming some of that stuff is the Covert Agent pack, but why do I see different thigns between console and website?
And clicking on the links ask me to pay, or says coming soon..What?

I'm playing with the Steam Controller, and I had to lower the sensitivity a tad. However, it is working spectacularly after that. I should note that for some reason the in-game sensitivity just doesn't seem to work, so I had to adjust it in the controller profile in Steam, for anyone who also found it too sensitive.

Also, somehow, the game knows when I am in the menu and when I'm in-game, and changes the controller configuration/button layout accordingly. I didn't know you could do that, and it's pretty cool!

Well, Amazon managed to bungle up the shipping on the game so I gotta wait even longer, and I even paid for two day shipping and sales tax too.

all maxed at 3440x1440 and MSAA off I get 60fps in starting area and then it hovers between 40-70 depending what's happening.

This is with an i7-5960x and 1080 SLI.

Yeah that sounds annoying. I hate when games have different axis sensitivities because it messes with my aim when I play other games.

I want to play Human Revolution before I delve into this game, what version should I play. Have PS3 ps4 Xbox 360 and wiiu

I heard WiiU has a good port but how is performance compared to PS3 getting the new game obviously on ps4

Played about 3 hours today, just made it to
Miller in Prague
before I had to go. Love the feeling of ghosting through an area in this game. Didn't like how autosave accidentally locked me into certain upgrades after
the doctor dude gives you 10 praxis
. Partially my fault.

So far the best quest I've found is in the
sewers, where there's a utopian cult led by this dude who interrupts your attempts to rebuke him with some kind of mind control?
have to get more hacking upgrades and go back later.

I'm playing on PS4 and the performance seems fine (I'm not really picky though)

What am I supposed to do in the first mission, near ending I think?

These metalface dudes started attacking, and I get killed, because there's a lot of them.

For new page.

I went non-lethal.
