Yup.

I really don't get why some people are saying that Trump won the first half of the debate. Just because someone constantly interrupts and flings accusations at someone doesn't make them stronger or a better debater. All it does it make them look like a petulant child.

People need to stop worrying about how they think 'other' people are going to perceive it because that imagined other person is usually imagined to be a gibbering idiot.

The only real question where i thought he might do some damage was on trade, but he is just so rambling, insulting, and hyperbolic that I think that is going to lose people who are still undecided, wary, or lukewarm about both candidates.
For the first 20 minutes he was actually making points and I thought he was staying even or slightly beating her.

Then the Trump took over. He just could not shut the fuck up and went for any bait like a shark goes after chum. It seemed to get worse and worse for him.

Why didn't Donald Trump talk about campaign finance reform? Why didn't Trump have a more progressive message?

These undecided people on CNN^

A lot of people are having their first sample of the candidates right now and also have no idea what the parties actually stand for.

I think they're unable to comprehend that Republicans are not anywhere close to Bernie's policy. They may not like it, and I have many criticisms of Hillary/the Democrats myself but she's the closet to Bernie's message on the stage. That's just a fact of the matter. They need to accept it.

I think if you're Clinton, your three targets are:
1) Make the bizarre 10+% of people polling for Johnson pick a major candidate
2) Make Republicans who have reluctantly embraced Trump stay home
3) Shore up marginal supporters who supported her after the convention but bailed over the last few weeks because they got gunshy

I don't think you care about undecideds, many of whom are not going to vote.

I would consider a lot of those who fall into 1 and 3 undecided voters, especially in this cycle where the percentage of undecided voters is so much bigger (double iirc) compared to 2012. That increase cant all be attributed to people who were never going to vote at all. Trump and Hillary are the reason for bloated third party numbers. But tonight she didnt do anything herself to gain/lose those three targets and Trump made his prospects worse.

I'm not for any illegal things advocated by Trump. It's the part where he said he doesn't want America to be interventionist/world police that I thought stood out.

Now risking an entire presidency on moving the US towards that? I clearly don't like him as a candidate so that's a no.

I just don't see as bombing terrorists is no interventionist. He also said he wants to stop Iran from getting nukes, but doesn't like the diplomatic option of preventing that. So the only other option is military.

helped a brotha out on multiple separate occasions!
Even the 2 guys on CNN who declared Trump the winner don't sound like they believe their own lie.

Joe Six-Pack: posting for the common man
the only thing i wish happened is Hillary calling him out on jobs going overseas when all his clothes are made overseas. I SO wish she had done this.

also its hilarious him whining about negative ads.

same pretty much. Not that I agreed with what he said at all, it was just that Hillary was losing by talking. Then she didn't really change much but he became himself and lost all on his own. I think that should be her blueprint for the rest of the debates. Let the man dig his own grave.

He literally said that shooting at an Iranian boat wouldn't start a war.

The two moments that stuck with me:

"She deserved it."

Trump's very loud "ughhh" after Hillary brought up African American communities or something.

Overall, as a non-American gaffer, I thought Hillary easily won this. Trump brought a lot of energy at the start, but fell apart a third into the debate. Hillary was in control most of the time and she let him destroy himself which was a perfect strategy.

He absolutely did. He's come out of this looking terribly to everyone but his supporters, who are even having a hard time spinning this performance. He brags about not preparing and that much was obvious. The last 2/3 of this debate he was completely incoherent. The numbers with moderates, undecideds and "very against Trump" people are looking terrible for him.

I'd say he was "rattled" but did not become "unhinged." IMO Hillary didn't knock him out. But she won.

Stop and frisk would reduce crime but so would random searches of people's homes, and cars without warrants.

Where do we draw the line?

Half of it is she's not that personable. She's more of a policy wonk, and that can be off-putting. I'm the same way.

The other half is she's a woman.

Probably just /pol/ spamming. Don't think too much about it. Scientific surveys have Clinton 9-10 points ahead.

18 out of 20 undecided voters(i.e. Crazy people) in Florida focus group on CNN say Clinton won debate.

All is well.

The whole thing was hilarious. That 90 minutes just flew by.

Trump acted just like he did in the Republican Primary debates. It was fucking hilarious.

Watch donald trump talk about race, and police

and nuclear weapons

and stop and frisk

and sexism

Well geez, I need to track down the archived footage now. I expected nothing less from this debate.

Try to find clips of Trump admitting to tax evasion and saying "that makes me smart!" and the following exchange:

"What do you say to racial healing?"

"Nothing!"

He basically admitted to his obvious tax evasions? LOL

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
The same reason why online user polls said Bernie was 100% going to win, online brigading from places like reddit.

Reddit killed the GameFAQs character poll by bombing a League of Legends character to victory.

It's best not to take online polls seriously.

There are too many moments to pick my favorite.

I don't know whether it's Trump being accused of being sexist in multiple instances and his response being "Well, Rosie O'Donnell deserved it."

Or if it's the time he was accused of tax evasion and failing to pay his employees and his response being "Well, I didn't want to do it."

Or the time it was pointed out that the policies he wants to bring back are unconstitutional and his response was "No, it isn't."

Or that time he said he was going to say horrible things about Hillary but decided "not to bring them up", only to then bring them up in the post-debate interview.

Clownshoes.
