I thought he was a pretty liberal guy?
He's a Libertarian, closer to say someone like Dave Rubin or Sargon than Milo.

You guys need to surround yourself with better people in your one life. You choose this over anyone else you could be listening to instead?
I don't think we disagree that there is clearly a bias, and the secrecy of earnings is why its so difficult to measure. If we're talking about how to fix that bias, we should be more open with discussing earnings with co-workers.Asking other people about their earnings is strictly considered inappropriate in most environments, in particular corporations. And negotiations take place on a one on one basis, and treated as a vacuum. A woman will be given a figure that's decided on whatever their superiors deem, and simply can't negotiate another 6% on the basis of outside statistics. The fact that there's consistency to that statistic shows there's intrinsic bias in the system.
I hope I didn't imply that Bill Burr supports Trump (he's vocal about not voting for him) or that he supports MRA or hates SJWs, I doubt he has any idea what SJW stands for. He's just very funny.
Joe really has fallen in my eyes. His new standup on Netflix is hilarious other than his bit about women not being able to do certain jobs because of their physique - again failing to mention Rhonda Rousey.
I guess you can say you are telling it like it is.For those wondering why defend Trump, wasn't he on O&A a lot?
I feel a huge chunk of those guys are defending Trump because "he says it like it is"
That their style of comedy is under attack from the "PC" crowd.
Burr's problem is that he becomes a fucking tool when he's around idiots like Rogan and doesn't stand his ground on what he actually believes, or just says crazy shit like Hillary is the devil just to get a reaction.
Like, Rogan is exactly the type of moron Burr makes fun of in a lot of his bits.
Lmao so many ignorant views on here about Rogan.. It's like every time Joe Rogan or reddit get mentioned ppl come out with their pick axes "I told you it was a piece of shit!!"
But ya Rogan does come off as mra sometimes and so does Bill burr
And if you think burr is just acting a tool around Rogan you obviously don't listen to his podcast..
Its a lot off "if you are not with is 100% then you are against us!" mentality, Rogan is continually evolving and changing his views based on his experiences and guests.

I know a few amateur comedians and they parrot the same talking points. They feel that their way of thinking is becoming marginalized. Almost all agree that anything can be funny and whenever. And any offensed taken should be waved away because "it was only a joke". Don't get even mention SJWs because ironically that word or anything "pc cultured" triggers them.
Yes, evolving to the right.
The worst podcast I ever listened to in my entire life was this one where it was Joe Rogan, Sam Harris, and Hannibal Buress (but it wasn't Rogan's podcast). The guests were on because of some kind of scheduling overlap. Sam didn't know Hannibal, and Hannibal didn't know Sam. Hannibal was crazy drunk, and probably thought the comedy podcast was still rolling, while Harris did his intellectual book thing, and when the topic of race came up shit went straight bananas.

If you can point me to anything half as bad as the craziest shit Rogan has said on Burr's podcast I'd like to hear it. I listen to it a lot and the worst I've heard from him is Hillary Clinton bashing.
Man Hannibal came off so bad there.. Very cringe
I'd you look at his views, Rogan is definitely a leftist, very extreme at that... He just hates censorship and social justice warriors as a comedian.
Maybe he was playing himself on News Radio
He was drunk and Harris was basically lecturing him on BLM, sounding his impossibly robotic self and being oblivious to it.
Can I see some receipts? I've seen his views and I wouldn't call a single one of them "leftist" besides pot and his flirtation with maybe being onboard with Bernie Sanders. I pointed out all of his conservative views earlier in the thread, of which there are a shitload especially if you look at the company he keeps.
He's a Libertarian, closer to say someone like Dave Rubin or Sargon than Milo.
And I don't think you understand stand up comedy, if you really think Burr thinks it's ok to hit women. I also don't know how you think that is his most popular joke.
Now I understand the concern of the censorship, but when you start repeating certain ideology verbatim and give some of these statements validity that does become problematic. Although you can't police thoughts nor do I agree with that notion, I feel that you can call anybody out on things; be it comedian or whoever. You say dumbshit, don't complain about being taken to task for the dumbshit or by dumbshits.Comedians have a problem with what they view as the censorship of free speech. See Chris Rock's interview about why he doesn't do college campuses (and many other comedians don't anymore either). They're there to do their comedy, and real life liberal hecklers who object to many comedians' comedy exist. An encounter with one is very polarizing.
Thread backfire? It's obvious OP was off on a few of Rogan's views.
He's definitely libertarian with some liberal views. And god forbid he have a diverse range of guests to get different viewpoints and have a well-formed opinion.
Having on different guests doesn't automatically make him a liberal. Not a single person has yet backed up this idea that he's secretly a liberal, while others including me have backed up the idea that he's actually a right-wing or center-right fuckhead who has some liberal friends and ideas. But sure, thread backfire.
Of course he doesn't think it's okay.
Just okay enough to joke about as if it were.
...you know it's a stand up comedy bit, right?Of course he doesn't think it's okay.

Someone that shares Breitbart news to 2 million Twitter followers is probably super liberal.
I mean, coming to the defense of Milo Yiannopoulos and proclaiming to the world that he was unjustly banned from Twitter for simply writing a bad review of Ghostbusters is one of the most progressive things I've witnessed in 2016.
The liberal hero we don't deserve.
He's a libertarian who is against the modern PC culture and what he thinks of as social justice warriors, trying to paint him as an alt-right devil is plain intellectually dishonest.
Rogan is a stupid person's idea of what an intelligent person is like.
And of course, "modern PC culture" and "social justice warriors" means "anyone who calls him out on the hateful, ignorant bullshit he spews", like stuff he's said about trans people.
He's a bog-standard intellectually incurious privileged douchebag with a megaphone. Unfortunately, that means he's likely to end up parroting at least SOME MRA/alt-right talking points.
Man Hannibal came off so bad there.. Very cringe
Rogan is distancing himself further and further from conspiracy beliefs as well for the record. There was a time where he was big into it but he's almost done a complete 180 on it. He'll still dabble occasionally but he's not really a conspiracy guy for the most part anymore
Yeah. Seems like a harmless dude with some dumb opinions, ergo most people.I had no idea people have such strong opinions on Joe Rogan.
