I'd say it's what happens when you encourage sharing but lacked the foresight to have anything in place to account for mature content. The situation shouldn't have resulted in a ban for the OP but rather prompted Sony to adjust how content sharing is handled.

Still, this tells me that to make Sony's customer service listen to reason one needs to make some pretty huge waves. And the fact they banned you from the entire account instead of just blocking you from sharing more stuff still baffles me. Either their system is not set up to require separate access rights for separate sections, or their "moderators" need to chill the fuck down with their banhammers.
People here were all over the ban extension but this was the worse issue IMO. I doubt you'd even care that much about the ban if you were still able to play online.

If you share to an external source on the PSN you're given an option to also share your "shares" publicly on the PSN social stream, which you see on the PS4 home screen. The issue appears to be that they'd received complaints due to the OP sharing it with everyone on PSN.

If 1.6 is still in cert then it probably won't be for a little while, unless Sony allow them to bypass cert to some extent just to get it over and done with. It's still fucking dumb.
