i mean

the net code wasn't BAD

MVC3 is basically the only game I've played where I've raged after winning matches just because the netcode was so bad.

There's worse out there, especially for fighting games, but this is strictly a local play only game for me.

"No netcode change
No balance changes
No more engine slowdowns (happy bdays, loops, etc)

Looks INCREDIBLE"

Straight port with no issues + all DLC seems fine for $25

Game not slowing down during Happy Birthdays and combos is actually a big deal and does affect game play balance. People have dropped lots of combos and lost games over that.

No balance issues is a bummer but oh well.

Online wasnt that bad if you played up with people you knew played wired and lived close to you.

Lobbies were shit though

I really hope it returns to Evo. Will be nice to watch a Marvel 3 tourney that for once doesn't just use the training or snow stages.

Sweet. I'm in the process of building an arcade cabinet right now. The more fighters that come to PC the better.

Still own it on 360, so I'll likely skip this one or buy on steam.

Glad people won't have to wrangle together setups with Jill and Shuma still installed for tournaments, though.

Maybe we can set up a thread where gaffers can find others that are geographically close to them? Since the netcode is very distance based

I didnt even think about it looking better, im just excited to get rid of my 360

Yeah, I think I'm going to sell my PS3 and the copy of UMvC3 that I won in a Capcom raffle. I haven't really been using it much anymore.

Still keeping my 360 because of Rock Band 3 stuff and the other Capcom collections not on the XO.

Even with no netcode changes, just having it on current systems to pick up and mess around with is welcome.

No netcode improvements is very disappointing, i quit the game because of the bad netcode.
I will wait to see impressions for the pc version. I hope disabling vsync or something will magically make it playable lol.

This shit is gonna look fly in 1080p (upscaled to 4K) 60 fps especially now that I have the Pro.

I don't really care about new netcode or balance changes, would've been nice but the netcode was serviceable IMO. Compared to SFxT which was an online travesty at least MvC3 had a functional online mode, definitely could've used work but oh well.
