Gotta say the brawl is already frustrating enough, doing the achievements is another world of horrid.

Like not even hard mode for Junkenstein was this tedious.

On the other, no Mercy skins so am I really missing anything?

Yo so is it a usual thing that average ping goes from like 70ms to 600 during the first day of an event?

Like, I got Nutcracker Zen but I can barely play so it's like glass half full or whatever.

The arcade modes are really fun. I haven't played Overwatch since Halloween, so it's nice to see you get loot boxes for arcade mode victories.

Even the portrait for Santa Mei is fucking lazy. The hat doesn't even look right, they've literally just slapped it on top of the original portrait.

I have 3000 credits, but can't decide between Zenyatta and Torbjorn's legendaries. The rational thing to do is to buy neither and wait 'til the end of the event in case I get one by luck... but I want one now!

I bet the next holiday event will be Chinese New Year at the end of January. It might not be as big, but they could have something.

Since the update I've gotten PotG at least 10 times. (4 in ranked) So I would say that is about to change. All with her primary fire, mind you.

the snowball fight sucks and I hate playing Mei but I think all my time playing Zarya and Zenyatta has made me the master of balls. I sniped someone in the first few seconds from across the map and got an achievement. Was kinda fun showing off to a friend spectating as I took apart the other team, but I don't really want to do that again.

Well client finally let me finish the update with ease, and I got the Frostbite Pharah skin from the loot box, so yay don't need to worry about that one.

King's Row looks really great with the holiday makeover.

Snowball brawl isn't really my thing, not a fan of the gathering snow mechanic. Kinda kills the momentum when you're outnumbered and you have to go stand somewhere for a few seconds to gather more snow.

Our team was one kill away from a perfect game on the snowball mode.

Then a teammate leaves, no perfect game and the match ended because it failed to migrate the host.

Quitters suck, and fix your servers Blizzard

The snowball thing makes sense mechanics wise. I get what they are going for.

But a 1 bullet kill mode isn't really that fun.

As a symmetra main, I already got plenty of POTGs before, her gun was a death machine before. With the new patch, you can pretty much get POTG in almost every match lol.

Yah, with these buffs, they completely broke Symmetra. I barely have any experience with her, and I have been locking down every match I've played with her and snagging those POTGs. Of course, she's less of a support character than ever. One could almost argue she has become an attack character with these buffs.

I had 4 Loot boxes waiting for this update and I lost patience and used them!
I'm just glad their easier to achieve now than before

The kind of folks willing to drop 50 on cosmetics are also most likely the kind of people who don't want to wait.

Seen so much salt on here from people that have opened under 5 boxes, crying they got dupes or didn't get the one skin they wanted. Chill out, it's free. If you're paying, you're playing the RNG/GATCHA system where nothing is guaranteed.
