I recall paying something like that for the Generations CE, which was very similar to this one but also came with an artbook, a soundtrack, a making-of DVD and a physical version of the game.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my favorite. Most will say that one or Sonic 2 are the best. Can't go wrong with either or both really.
If you're gonna just play all of them anyway, I'd do it in release order.

My Amazon order now has a release date of 3 April, probably a placeholder, but there wasn't one there when I ordered it.

I'm not sure. The team is probably pretty small. However, I think it's certainly possible the system gets a port and I certainly hope it does.

I cannot see any reason why this won't be on the console. I guess we'll have to wait for an official reveal, but really they'd be stupid not to put it on the Switch.

Switch would be the perfect platform considering it's the logical conclusion of the concept of Sega's Nomad.

Level looks great, getting real desert hill zone vibes. Really wish we had more gameplay from people who really knew how to play sonic tho.
At one point he has the electric shield and never double jumps and doest realise that electric shield cant touch water, even tho a water shiled box was right next to him...

Exactly. I had to stop watching because of the terrible play.
I am so excited, I got the honour of playing this at EGX and feel immediately in love with this title, the magic is back and as an avid Sonic fan I have waited patiently for this day to come

New stage looks awesome!
Knuckles sprite is pretty wonky. The run and one of the balancing off an edge animations, specifically. Gliding looks perfect though.
Its his run animation i think. At full speed its fine since his arms dont swing. Something about its rotation seems off.

The video calls it "Mirage Saloon Zone," so not technically.
That said, Taxman did say he wanted to add Desert Dazzle to Sonic CD's remaster, and the tileset looks similar, so maybe this'll borrow some of his original concepts for the stage?

EDIT: Just had the time to dig into where that screen came from after being sent it and it's from OPM so I thought I'd best remove it. However, there are a lot of interesting details such as burning the environment with the fire shield, and a description of the first Eggman fight. Hopefully the footage surfaces soon

There's no way this ain't coming to Switch.
I would be legitimately shocked if it didn't.
I'm surprised we don't already have Switch confirmation, especially considering how Sonic 2017 is gonna be on it and will definitely be the more technically demanding game.
I really hope we get a new trailer or something soon.

I know they are doing like revamped versions of old favourite games. I hope to hell they don't mess with chemical plant zone or casino zone music if they include those games.

I'd legit pay like £100 for this. Love it.
A collection could be pretty cool. It's a bit silly that they have rebuilt wide-screen versions of the classics with bonus stages that are only available on mobile. Akso S3K remaster with more stages and less barrels when?
I really think we need to see some more remastered zones too. I really want to get a feel for what exactly it is they're going for here.
