No one stated a thing to the contrary. The devs also have a right to say "if you support X, don't give us your money." It's not a legally binding law barring Trump voters from accessing their game. That they might have hurt some feelings by using harsher language doesn't change anything.

Treating people in such a way, based on political views, is in fact discrimination. By Definition it is. A group of people doesn't have to be racial, or physical reasons, it can very easily be defined as a group of political supporters.
Just as they have the right to vote however they want, it's my fundamental right to tell them how I feel about that vote. Funny how that works

This sentiment assumes that the different sides are equal in some way. They aren't. You can't just line up people who believe in common decency and having empathy for other humans with people who actively hate and are looking to harm just about everyone but a specific group of people.

The moral high ground does not mean unconditional respect. The double standard of asking the side of civil rights to engage only through respectful dialogue and debate with an intellectually dishonest opposition that creates their own facts is absurd. It's asking them to fight with one hand tied behind their backs. Speaking out against bigotry, fighting it, does not lower a person to the level of bigotry.

I mean, sure, you need to respect other people, but there's a line, yar? There's that moment when somebody does something, and then you just lose all respect for them. Like when somebody decides to put whatever their own self interest is over the rights of people to not be discriminated against just because of their race. I think that's a fine and reasonable line to draw.
