I know that rightfully, people shit on most of the scores to the Marvel films...

...but when that Avengers theme finally kicks in, with the Avengers, Guardians, Spidey all teamed up and ready to kick ass, it's going to RULE.

I really if anyone besides the top 3-5 characters are going to get more than a couple minutes of screen time. There are just too many super heroes!

I'm going to lose my shit with this movie. Civil War showed me the Russos have a knack for juggling several characters and giving them satisfactory screentime. IW is on a different order of magnitude, but I have high hopes.

I just don't understand why they're trying to cram all of this into one film. I believe there was originally supposed to be two separate films, but apparently they decided to make it into one film.

If this is really the culmination of what started about a decade ago with Iron Man...what happens to these characters next? What happens to the MCU next? Do they abandon Spider Man, Dr. Strange, Iron Man, Captain, etc, and start a "new" MCU with other comic book characters that haven't yet been brought to the big screen? Or are there additional stories to tell involving these characters after the conclusion of Infinity War?

There still is two films I think. The second one just has a different title that's not "Infinity War Part 2"

I think it's still 2 movies. It's just dropped the part one and party two.

That said. I love these movies, but Thanos still hasn't done shit imo be labeled the big bad. He's just kinda there in the background.

There are still two films, it's just that they're focusing production and marketing so that the films stand on their own accords. e.g., don't expect the second film to follow immediately after the credits of the first. Instead, think of the second film as a sequel to the first, an escalation, rather than just a "part two".

Awesome! Can't wait.

That theme is good. Elfman's rendition of it in AOU is absolutely terrific though, and for my money the best superhero theme of the recent decade.

i don't really know what use any of the guardians really would be in this lineup but it will be nice to see Star Lord interact with Stark.

I can't escape the feeling that this film might buckle under its own weight and expectation but goddamn if it isn't exciting.
