eShop was known based on the fact that there are digital-only games confirmed for launch day. Nintendo already announcing DLC for Zelda further confirmed it. But it's cool and surreal to see a magazine ad for "NX" that says it's available on "Friday."

That video or Direct focused on the online stuff (and legacy compatibility) is much needed.

I was honestly waiting for a brand new design but considering both 3DS and Wii U eShops will remain open for a very long time it makes sense to keep the old design and simply add a Switch logo next to the other two.

Plus it will most likely share wallets across all systems so yeah...

Was there ever any doubt? Nintendo not having games available digitally on day one would be a massive "fuck you" to folks that don't want to buy physical software.

If Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ was indeed delayed from launch day, then I think that is the full retail launch for North America. There are other games available exclusively digitally on Day 1.

Same price as the Yarn Yoshi ones. They're being considered higher-quality for their detail, and therefore price. Up to you if you think that's true or not though...
