The same 4chan dude who leaked like 90% of XV's story said that XVI wasn't in development at all and the entire FF team is/was focusing on XV. If XVI is in development right now it's most likely at an extremely early conceptual phase while the far majority of the FF team is working on these updates.
We don't even need to wait for E3 for that.
If the points about Gladio being ad in chapter 13 is added and extra scene's in such with his character DLC then this stuff can be consider confirmed.
This team won't be working on FFXVI.

Man, so glad I didn't start the game yet. I know for sure had I already beat the game I wouldn't want to go back for this little upgrades.
I'll gladly take more new content to enrich the experience for when I finally play it though.

There is no "Final Fantasy Team". Square has around twelve or thirteen Business Divisions, and BD2 is only one of them. Many of those divisions have each helmed Final Fantasy titles independent of what the other teams were doing. BD2 has only worked on small spinoffs snd handheld games before FFXV.
(As an aside, the leaker did not get everything correct.)
As it stands, Tabata has already said that BD2 is working on a new IP after all the FFXV stuff is done. As for FFXVI, it's looking like BD5, the XIV team, will be working on that, as they've been on a huge hiring spree lately, most notably looking for folks with experience in making single player games.

I stopped reading when he said episode gladio could be 2 hours or 5 hours. Like.....he's not even trying.
These sound actually quite good for once.
Making bits of Insomnia explorable before the invasion would imo make you care more about the city and its inhabitants. Like it is now, Insomnia is just this unknown place and you wonder what it is like during the course of the game. The impact of only seeing its ruined state at the end is just moderate.
Incorporating the areas of the DLC also into the main game is what I was hoping for. It would pad the second half of the game a little more, which imo felt rushed and unfinished.
But I was actually hoping the DLC episodes would be fully implemented into the main story once you paid for them. :/
A proper bestiary was sorely needed in this game from the beginning.

The 4chan story leak came from someone who didn't have access to that kind of information. (I'm not saying that XVI is being worked on right now, though). Also, there's no FF team, like others have already said.

I already waited 2 months for the Pro patch, cant wait any longer for these updates or the Chap 13 revamp. Sank 20 hours into the game and currently on Chapter 8. Im just gonna go ahead and finish this game and be done with it. The games pretty entertaining as it is.

Yeah... Like I can understand people not liking FFXV but it seems like every FFXV thread is spammed by that shit and it doesn't even make sense since BD2 isn't the only FF team. It's just annoying now.

It sounds good, as someone who loved the game at launch, and also mostly believable (2-5 hours isn't as unbelievable as it sounds, but it could be filled with tedious grindy bullshit to pad out those three hours so it's not a good thing) but I can't help be skeptical.

Its almost like Square has multiple large internal development teams and can afford to make both FF16 and continue to support FF15.
Could people stop doing this?
The two are not related. Working on XV DLC does not impact XVI. It will be done by a different team.
... What L did they take? Was it the positive reviews or the good sales?
