360 version got faster loading screens, outside of that they run and look the same

They have been missing some options here and there but they all run fine, certainly not worse than on console.

Considering that the PS4 got some streaming related framerate issues i hardly can imagine the PC version being the worse choice

They've probably just worded it clumsily. I assume they mean you have to show them the receipts of your preordered PS4 copy when you double-dip for the PC version to receive that stuff, since no one knows that it's out a week after the PS4 version, which everyone will ultimately buy first without knowing better.

Yeah, its actually better than other Platinum efforts on console in regards to FPS, even on base PS4(which is great for me since that's all i own), but that doesn't mean it isn't slightly disappointing for me personally considering it is their first PS4 game and the performance is only relatively better than their exploits last gen. I thought only From were that lackadaisical about optimization efforts

Sole reason I'm picking this up is because a few gaffers kept gushing about the soundtrack, which in turn got me curious about the game. I'm now super excited for this (although the Square/sony(?) shenaningans kinda put me off the hype for a while).

i agree personally. the PC components they are asking for are much stronger than PS4, and that actually runs decently even though there are certain slowdowns. Maybe some optimization patches incoming?

Are you getting caught up on the 980 that they threw up there for the recommended NVIDIA card? Given the AMD equivalent listed, I doubt you will have much trouble with a 970 or a higher 700 series card instead.

Everything else looks fine. A mid-range i5 from 3 years ago that wasn't much faster than the equivalent i5 from 4 years ago, pretty typical RAM requirements, etc.
